Dr Mahamudu Bawumia writes;

Together with members of the NPP’s Identifiable Groups Committee on the Extractive Sector, I had a productive engagement today with the Ghana National Association of Small-Scale Miners as part of our ongoing consultations with key stakeholders.

We discussed the challenges facing small-scale mining and practical reforms to promote responsible mining, protect the environment, create jobs and strengthen local value addition.

I look forward to continued collaboration towards a sustainable and productive extractive sector.

A government was building 5 bypasses to connect Ghana’s two biggest cities, expanding the Tema Motorway into a 10-lane motorway. Building an unprecedented number of hospitals. Instituted a gold program to stabilize the economy and give our currency value. Put millions of children in school for free, and feeding them. Was digitizing every facet of our lives and economy to make life easier for all of us. Reviving an economy using gold after some period of turmoil.

We voted it out and replaced them with this? One cannot convince me that the 32 cows theory isn't true.

May God forgive all of us.

After demolition of banks and markets to build new markets then this is what they are presenting as a policy.
