The staff of Cocoa Health and Extension Division - Sunyani District and Bono Ahafo Region of CHED-COCOBOD collaborated to actively participate in the National Green Ghana programme by planting trees in a cocoa farm at Yawhima Operational Area.

The goal was to encourage cocoa farmers to follow suit and plant more trees in their cocoa farms. This initiative aims to mitigate the impact of climate change on cocoa farms, ultimately improving the sustainability and resilience of the cocoa industry in the region.

By taking proactive steps to address environmental concerns, the staff of Bono Ahafo Region of CHED-COCOBOD demonstrated their commitment to promoting a greener and more sustainable future for cocoa production.
