Eight Patriots file to Contest five seats in Bono East.

By the close of nominations on the 20th of February, 2020. Eight Patriots successfully filed their Nominations to contest the five parent seats in the Bono East Region. One Patriot in the person of Mr Prince Ofosu Adjei picked a form at Nkoranza North but did not file at the close of the Nominations on the 20th of February.

One Patriot picked and filed at the Regional Secretariat to contest at Nkoranza North Constituency as per guidelines 11and 17 of the rules for the conduct of the 2020 primaries.

Below are the details of nominations as of close of work on the 20th of February 2020.

The Regional elections committee is urging all aspirants to be mindful of the rules guiding the entire process. The banned on campaigning is still in force and will be lifted after vetting which is going to take place between 28th February to 8th March, 2020.

Let us therefore conduct our activities in a family manner in other to enable us come out stronger after 25th April.

*Good Afternoon to you all*

Indeed, you have all exercised the democratic rights as a party faithful and stalwart.

On Saturday, 28th September,2019, across the Country the NPP went into its Orphan Constituency Primaries to elect/select *PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES* for the upcoming 2020 general elections and the Bono East was not left out.

I am thankful to the entire party fraternity in the region, the Polling Station executives,the electoral area coordinators, Constituency Executives, council of Elders and Patrons as well as Founding Members who constituted the Delegates for the just ended Primaries in fulfillment of Article 12 of NPP's Constitution.

I would like to thank and congratulate all Candidates. There's no winner, neither is there a loser, the NPP ultimately is the beneficiary and a winner.

I can confidently say and assure the NPP of winning more seats in the BONO EAST REGION.

We must henceforth forge ahead and come together as one family and ensure, we all work hard for victory 2020.

I therefore request all Constituency Executives, Council of Elders and Patrons to embark on an immediate resolution of any internal wranglings if any in the aftermath of the Primary.

I am finally thankful to Hon. Ampofo Twumasi( National Rep) who supervised the BONO EAST REGION and my able Regional Executives who I dispatched across the six(6) Orphan constituencies for the total display of the non-interference and the high level in coordinating the activities of the constituency elections in all the constituencies.

*No wonder we witnessed a free, fair and peaceful Primaries.*

Please be informed on our vetting of parliamentary aspirants of the Bono East Region.

The membership of the vetting committee includes the Regional Elections Committee members and Constituency election committee members of a particular Constituency.

Date : Monday 12th August,2019.

Venue: Agyeiwaa Hotel Conference Room. Techiman

Time: 9:00am

Note:

Please it is going to follow the order of arrival and registration.

Also all Regional and Constituency Executives can come in as observers for your constituency vetting but no transportation and feeding to that effect so at your cost.

No other party member is allowed to enter so busing supporters to the center will not help you in anyway at the vetting.

Women empowerment has become a worldwide focus. Women across the world have exhibited a great deal of efforts towards the development of every nation.

In view of this, the NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY has a keen interest in women development.

The women's wing of the New Patriotic party led by Madam Kate Gyamfua today, inaugurated the Kintampo North Women's wing. The move is directed towards the party's quest to empower women in political affairs in the country.

Madam Kate Gyamfua was accompanied by the Bono East regional chairman popularly known as Chairman 'TOMA', the workaholic Bono East regional Secretary Mr. David Boakye.

LIMITED REGISTRATION EXERCISE-DAVID BOAKYE LEAVES NO STONE UNTURNED.

The limited registration Exercise is ongoing. Undoubtedly, David Boakye the Bono east regional secretary has shown his prowess in leadership by constantly monitoring the process to the benefit of his party.This has earned him the accolades like field marshal ,Adwuma wura and many more.

In a count,this is his fifth round of tour in the registration centers.The tour took him through Atebubu Amanten,Kwame Danso,Sene West,Kajeji and Deiffour in the Sene East constituencies.

His commitment to duty and his persistence to get the job done has conspicuously been demonstrated when he was spotted in the eastern part of the region to take a briefing on the seven(7) polling stations on the islands of Sene East including Old Nkomi and Atigagorme.
