DVLA OFFICE COMMISSIONED IN TUMU
During the commissioning of the DVLA office, the Municipal Chief Executive encouraged all residents to register their vehicles, obtain the appropriate driver's or rider's licenses, renew their documents promptly and ensure that their vehicles undergo regular road worthiness inspection.
Distinguished guests, I also wish to draw your attention to another important resource available within the municipality. The Eye Clinic at the Tumu Municipal Hospital is well equipped and provides quality eye care services to residents of the municipality and neighboring districts.
The clinic is currently headed by a qualified nurse and supported by a dedicated team of five professional staff who can provide eye services to support people to obtain their DVLA licenses.
The DVLA district office can therefore confidently rely on the expertise of this hospital to provide eye services.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the people of Sissala East, I wish to express our profound appreciation to the Government of Ghana, the Board and Management of the DVLA, the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council, the Tumu Kuro, the Member of Parliament for Sissala East, hon. Issah Mohammed Bataglia and all individuals who have contributed in diverse ways to make today's program a success.
We warmly welcome the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority to Sissala East and assure the Authority of the unwavering support and cooperation of the Sissala East Municipal Assembly and the good people of the municipality.
May this DVLA district office live long.
