YEA COLLABORATES WITH NIC OVER RECRUITMENT OF 6,000 INSURANCE AGENTS

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) represented by its Corporate Affairs Directorate and the Research & Planning Directorate has held meetings with the Ghana Insurance College (GIC) and the National Insurance Commission, (NIC) ahead of the recruitment of young people for the Insurance Industry in Ghana.

The two institutions have collaborated to recruit and train over six thousand (6000) young people to serve in various capacities with insurance companies across the country.

The training program, which is set to take place in the coming weeks, will be launched on Tuesday,2nd May 2023 in Accra.

On 31st October, 2022, the agency engaged fifty-two (52) Community Health Workers (Assistant) to help in aiding the health centers in the Upper West Region (Wa Municipal)

The Municipal Health Director and his subordinate were all part of the exercise and also othe major staff from the Wa Municipal Assembly were also involved to give a word out to the beneficiaries, to aid them work in ease at their various work post.

The will help in facilitating good healthcare in the Wa Municipality, the youth involved were happy and wish more modules would be rolled out.

The Municipal Director, Mr Adams Mahamood Mumuni took a group picture with the beneficiaries to show how grateful he is in the support of reducing unemployment in the Country from the help of the Government.
