Cognizant of the fact that, no nation can ensure proper accountability and transparency, without effective and efficient records keeping in place. We the staff of the National Records Service hereby envisage and adopt this constitution to be our guiding principle in our strive to ensure and enhance efficient and effective records management service delivery that
our country the Gambia yarns for. Vision

Create a vibrant working environment for records personnel; build their capacities with the required skills in proper records management techniques to enhance their service delivery and preservation of records of continued value. Core Values
The Association's purpose shall be among others things to
1) Promote good and sound records keeping management system at all times in the Government
2) Promote good governance, accountability and transparency by ensuring that proper records management system are put in place.
3) To foster honesty, mutual respect, tolerance and fairness in the ex*****on of our day to day records office duties and responsibilities.
4) Ensure that every records personnel enjoys mutual respect and conducive working environment in our various records offices.
