it might be frustrating by the crowd and the joggling before you have seen it all and sometimes have the chance to see how the wood carving and stuff is making, location is just fantastic as its within the market,the river bank is only a few meters away behind Albert market and this is a different world,p rogues cut across the river the large ferry community lives on the foreshore in make-shift dwelling.

The Gambia a small country but they real force..another word is the smiling coast of Africa because the people are always receptive smiling welcome to tourist and strangers.Albert craft market is the oldest market in the Gambia and the the Gambia main urban market located on liberation .it is essentially emporium that is pungent,lively and bustling with a large selection of vividly designed fabrics,carved wooden mask and fresh produce which is packed to the brim.all this is laid out within a labyrinth of alleys and hundreds of rickets stalls and purpose build shops.open from 8am to 7pm daily..
