The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce was established in 1932 and is one of the largest, most active and dynamic American Chambers in Europe.

The Chamber aims to:

Promote the harmonious development in Greek-American relations in the economic and business field

Aid the increase in trade and development between the two countries and acquaint and inform the American business community in Greece with the economic environment and business practices of the host country

Assist Greek businesspeople who wish to create business partnerships

with American companies

Represent the American business community vis-a-vis government departments and agencies

Aid and assist importers and investors in their respective countries

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of its AI Task Force, a new initiative dedicated to supporting the responsible and meaningful adoption of by the Greek business community, with particular emphasis on SMEs.

As AI rapidly reshapes the way businesses operate, innovate, and create value, the AI Task Force aims to help bridge the gap between experimentation and responsible implementation with tangible business impact.

Its mission is built around four key pillars:

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and its Northern Greece Committee organized a closed working breakfast with the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Χρίστος Δήμας - Christos Dimas, on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki.

AmCham Greece President John D. Saracakis welcomed the Minister, together with AmCham Greece Vice President Vassilis Kafatos and members of the Northern Greece Committee.

The meeting provided an opportunity for an open and constructive exchange on infrastructure, connectivity, and key development priorities for Thessaloniki and Northern Greece.

The meeting formed part of AmCham Greece’s ongoing dialogue with institutional and business stakeholders on issues of strategic importance to the region.

Combining data and analysis, the Bulletin aims to support 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲, and 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 by businesses and policymakers.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
🔹 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 in early 2026, supported by strong fixed investment.
🔹 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, accounting for 4.9% of Greek goods exports in 2025 and ranking among Greece’s top five export markets.
🔹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, with Greek services exports to the U.S. reaching €3.7 billion in 2025, led by travel and transport.
🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, with U.S. inward FDI reaching €1.3 billion in 2025, alongside growing education and cultural exchanges.
🔹 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 are identified across product categories with potential for further trade growth.

📈 The initiative will be further enriched by the forthcoming 𝗨.𝗦.–𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅, capturing business expectations on bilateral economic and investment relations.
