As a part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, our co-artistic director Pieter Matthynssens and business manager Robin Goossens Verburgh propose an interactive talk on the topic of “𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲”.

From the beginnings of the ensemble, clear artistic vision was combined with taking care of the musicians as both individuals and as a group. Fair practices, fair pay and sharp artistic views are at the core of every choice that Nadar makes.

Adventure, interdisciplinarity and, above all, a critical engagement with today’s world — often through the use of new technologies — lie at the heart of the Nadar Ensemble’s guiding principles. Nadar aims to anchor new music more firmly in today’s world by developing alternative concert formats. These can range from walks and living room concerts to compositions with construction cranes or hot air balloons.

Christina Oikonomopoulou et les étudiants de l'Ecole de Beaux-Arts de l'Université de Péloponnèse - en français et en grèc. Soyez toutes et tous les bienvenu·e·s!

La pièce parle de fémicides et fait partie d'une journée d'études qui lie l'art et les violences meurtrières contre des femmes à travers l'histoire.
