Από την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2012, το Ευρωπαϊκό Κέντρο Καταναλωτή της Ελλάδας λειτουργεί πλέον υπό την εποπτεία και με τη στήριξη της Ανεξάρτητης Αρχής «Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή» , κατόπιν αποδοχής της αίτησης που υπέβαλε σχετικώς ως επίσημος εκπρόσωπος της Ελλάδας προς τον Εκτελεστικό Οργανισμό για την Υγεία και τους Καταναλωτές (Executive Agency for Health and Consumers) της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής.

From the 1st of January 2012, ECC-Greece is operating under the auspices and with the support of the Hellenic Consumers Ombudsman, who consists a Public Independent Authority mandated with the out-of-court consensual settlement of consumer disputes.
