🔝Με συνολική (ευρωπαϊκή και εθνική) χρηματοδότηση 35 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ και ορίζοντα εξαετίας, το έργο SPACE-Crete, με συντονιστή το ΙΤΕ, δεν αποτελεί απλώς ακόμη ένα ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα, καθώς συνιστά μια από τις πιο φιλόδοξες και στρατηγικές επενδύσεις που έχουν γίνει ποτέ στην ελληνική έρευνα υψηλής τεχνολογίας, που στοχεύει στο να δημιουργήσει στην Κρήτη ένα πλήρες οικοσύστημα διαστημικών τεχνολογιών με ευρωπαϊκή εμβέλεια.
🗣📝 Για τη σημασία του έργου, τι σηματοδοτεί και πώς διαμορφώνει το μέλλον στο πεδίο της διαστημικής τεχνολογίας, μίλησαν στο ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ ο Πρόεδρος του ΙΤΕ, καθηγητής Βασίλης Χαρμανδάρης και ο Διευθυντής του Ινστιτούτου Πληροφορικής του ΙΤΕ και συντονιστής του SPACE-Crete, καθηγητής Παναγιώτης Τσακαλίδης.
