Η Πρεσβεία της Δημοκρατίας της Ινδονησίας στην Αθήνα βρίσκεται σήμερα στη διαδικασία οικοδόμησης Ζώνης Ακεραιότητας με στόχο την ανακήρυξή της ως Ζώνη Ελεύθερη από τη Διαφθορά (ZI-WBK) και Ζώνη Καθαρής Γραφειοκρατίας και Υπηρεσιών (WBBM).

Σε αυτή την πορεία, η Πρεσβεία της Δημοκρατίας της Ινδονησίας στην Αθήνα προάγει την εργασιακή κουλτούρα YASSAS: Yakin (Πίστη), Amanah (Αξιοπιστία), Siap & Sigap (Έτοιμοι & Άμεσοι), Akuntabel (Υπόλογοι) και Santun (Ευγενικοί). The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Greece, Dr. Bebeb A.K. Nugraha Djundjunan paid a courtesy meeting on General Dimitrios Choupis, Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, on 25 May 2026.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared interests of Indonesia and Greece as maritime nations and explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in defence, maritime security, military education and training, as well as defence industry development. Both sides also highlighted the importance of establishing a stronger framework for future defence cooperation and expressed their commitment to deepening strategic ties between the two countries.

General Choupis welcomed closer engagement with Indonesia, including future exchanges and visits, reflecting the growing momentum of Indonesia–Greece defence relations.

Ο Ινδονήσιος Πρέσβης, Α.Ε. Δρ. Bebeb A.K. Nugraha Djundjunan, πραγματοποίησε συνάντηση με τον Αρχηγό του Γενικού Επιτελείου Εθνικής Άμυνας, Στρατηγό Δημήτριο Χούπη, στις 25 Μαΐου 2026.

Η συνάντηση επιβεβαίωσε τα κοινά συμφέροντα της Ινδονησίας και της Ελλάδας ως ναυτικών χωρών και διερεύνησε ευκαιρίες για την ενίσχυση της συνεργασίας σε θέματα άμυνας, θαλάσσιας ασφάλειας, στρατιωτικής εκπαίδευσης και κατάρτισης, καθώς και ανάπτυξης της αμυντικής βιομηχανίας. Αμφότερες οι πλευρές τόνισαν επίσης τη σημασία της δημιουργίας ενός ισχυρότερου πλαισίου για τη μελλοντική αμυντική συνεργασία και εξέφρασαν τη δέσμευσή τους για περαιτέρω εμβάθυνση των στρατηγικών δεσμών μεταξύ των δύο χωρών.

Ο Στρατηγός Χούπης καλωσόρισε την εντονότερη επαφή με την Ινδονησία, συμπεριλαμβανομένων μελλοντικών ανταλλαγών και επισκέψεων, αντανακλώντας τη διαρκώς αυξανόμενη δυναμική των αμυντικών σχέσεων Ινδονησίας–Ελλάδας.

📷🎋𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐫, hiasan bambu khas yang menghiasi berbagai sudut Bali saat Hari Raya Galungan, merupakan simbol rasa syukur atas kemakmuran dan berkah yang dianugerahkan oleh Sang Pencipta. Dihiasi dengan janur, bunga, serta berbagai hasil bumi, Penjor secara tradisional dipasang di depan rumah dan pura sebagai wujud persembahan dan ungkapan bhakti.

Di balik keindahannya, Penjor juga mengandung makna filosofis yang mendalam. Unsur-unsur seperti umbi-umbian, buah-buahan, dan biji-bijian melambangkan kekuatan, kelimpahan, kesuburan, serta harapan akan masa depan yang baik, sekaligus mencerminkan hubungan yang harmonis antara manusia, alam, dan Sang Pencipta. Setiap Penjor dibuat dengan ciri khas tersendiri, mencerminkan kreativitas, identitas, dan nilai-nilai spiritual keluarga atau komunitas yang memasangnya.

May Galungan bring peace, wisdom, and blessings to all who celebrate. This sacred Balinese Hindu festival commemorates the triumph of "Dharma" (goodness) over "Adharma" (evil), serving as a reminder to uphold virtue, harmony, and gratitude in our daily lives.

📷🎋 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐫, the iconic bamboo decoration seen throughout Bali during Galungan, is a symbol of gratitude for prosperity and blessings bestowed by God. Adorned with young coconut leaves (janur), flowers, and agricultural produce, it is traditionally placed in front of homes and temples as an offering and expression of devotion.

Beyond its striking beauty, the Penjor carries deep symbolic meaning. Elements such as tubers, fruits, and grains represent strength, abundance, fertility, and hope for the future, reflecting the harmonious relationship between humanity, nature, and the divine. Each Penjor is uniquely crafted, showcasing the creativity, identity, and spiritual values of the family or community that creates it.

📷🕌 Το Τζαμί Menara Kudus, που ιδρύθηκε από τον Sunan Kudus το 1549, είναι γνωστό για τον εμβληματικό κόκκινο πύργο του από τούβλα. Η αρχιτεκτονική του συνδυάζει ισλαμικά και ινδουιστικά-τζαβανέζικα στοιχεία, καθιστώντας το τζαμί σύμβολο πολιτισμικής σύντηξης και σημαντικό χώρο κληρονομιάς στην ιστορία του Ισλάμ στο ινδονησιακό αρχιπέλαγος.

On 22 May 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Athens, in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚–𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 (𝐈𝐇𝐁𝐅) at the Electra Palace Hotel, Thessaloniki, under the theme “𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚: 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡.”

Bringing together business leaders, academics, and representatives from major universities in Northern Greece, the forum served as a platform to explore new avenues for trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Indonesia and Greece. In his remarks, the Ambassador of Indonesia highlighted Greece’s strategic role as Indonesia’s gateway to Southern Europe, the Balkans, and the Eastern Mediterranean, while underscoring Indonesia’s importance as Greece’s strategic partner in ASEAN and one of the region’s largest consumer markets and production hubs.

IHBF is an annual event organized by the Embassy since 2023 consistently functions as a vital platform for facilitating connections between entrepreneurs and stakeholders from both nations, with a particular emphasis on distinct themes pertinent to various business sectors.

The 8th IHBF also promoted concrete cooperation through business matching initiatives, export expansion, strategic investments, and the dissemination of plans for the inaugural Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation (JCEC) Meeting and the 2026 Trade Mission.

The active participation and dynamic discussions reflected the growing interest of Thessaloniki’s business and academic communities in strengthening partnerships with Indonesia and exploring opportunities in one of the world’s fastest-growing regions.

🇬🇷 Στις 22 Μαΐου 2026, η Πρεσβεία της Δημοκρατίας της Ινδονησίας στην Αθήνα, σε συνεργασία με το Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο Θεσσαλονίκης, διοργάνωσε το 8ο Indonesia–Hellenic Business Forum (IHBF – Ινδονησιακό -Ελληνικό Επιχειρηματικό Φόρουμ) στο ξενοδοχείο Electra Palace στη Θεσσαλονίκη, με θέμα: «Discover Indonesia: Unlocking Opportunities in Southeast Asia’s Epicentrum of Growth» («Ανακαλύψτε την Ινδονησία: Ξεκλειδώνοντας ευκαιρίες στο επίκεντρο της ανάπτυξης της Νοτιοανατολικής Ασίας»).

Συγκεντρώνοντας επιφανείς επιχειρηματίες, ακαδημαϊκούς και εκπροσώπους μεγάλων πανεπιστημίων της Βόρειας Ελλάδας, το φόρουμ αποτέλεσε μια σημαντική πλατφόρμα για τη διερεύνηση νέων προοπτικών στο εμπόριο, τις επενδύσεις και την οικονομική συνεργασία μεταξύ Ινδονησίας και Ελλάδας. Στην ομιλία του, ο Πρέσβης της Ινδονησίας υπογράμμισε τον στρατηγικό ρόλο της Ελλάδας ως πύλης της Ινδονησίας προς τη Νότια Ευρώπη, τα Βαλκάνια και την Ανατολική Μεσόγειο, ενώ παράλληλα ανέδειξε τη σημασία της Ινδονησίας ως στρατηγικού εταίρου της Ελλάδας στην ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations - Ένωση Κρατών της Νοτιοανατολικής Ασίας) και ως μίας από τις μεγαλύτερες καταναλωτικές αγορές και παραγωγικές βάσεις της περιοχής.

Το IHBF αποτελεί ετήσιο θεσμό που διοργανώνεται από την Πρεσβεία από το 2023 και λειτουργεί σταθερά ως ένας ουσιαστικός μηχανισμός διασύνδεσης επιχειρηματιών και φορέων από τις δύο χώρες. Κάθε διοργάνωση επικεντρώνεται σε διαφορετικές θεματικές που ανταποκρίνονται στις ανάγκες και τις προοπτικές συγκεκριμένων επιχειρηματικών κλάδων.
Το 8ο IHBF προώθησε επίσης απτές μορφές συνεργασίας μέσω πρωτοβουλιών επιχειρηματικών συναντήσεων (business matching), ενίσχυσης των εξαγωγών, στρατηγικών επενδύσεων, καθώς και μέσο της παρουσίασης των σχεδίων για την πρώτη συνεδρίαση της Μικτής Επιτροπής Οικονομικής Συνεργασίας (Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation – JCEC) και την Εμπορική Αποστολή του 2026.

Η ενεργός συμμετοχή και οι δυναμικές συζητήσεις που πραγματοποιήθηκαν κατά τη διάρκεια του φόρουμ ανέδειξαν το αυξανόμενο ενδιαφέρον της επιχειρηματικής και ακαδημαϊκής κοινότητας της Θεσσαλονίκης για την ενίσχυση των συνεργασιών με την Ινδονησία και την αξιοποίηση των ευκαιριών που προσφέρει μία από τις ταχύτερα αναπτυσσόμενες περιοχές του κόσμου.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Greece, H.E. Dr. Bebeb A.K. Nugraha Djundjunan, have met H.E. Nikos Dendias, Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, at the Ministry of National Defence on May 2026.

Both have a common understanding that the growing of Indonesia–Greece cooperation to this extend in the fields of defence and maritime security, reflected the strategic and important roles of both Nations in their respective regions. Increasing and intensifying strategic dialogue and the expansion of discussions on technical cooperation need to be enhanced to the next level beyond its conventional cooperation. Both Ambassador and Minister have exchanged and underlined their views on opportunities in the defence industry and maritime surveillance systems, including but not limited to overcome regional and global safety and security developments.

As maritime nations with shared interests in safeguarding sea lanes and addressing evolving maritime security challenges, Indonesia and Greece had once again reaffirmed the importance of strengthening collaboration in these areas. The last visit of Minister for Defence of Indonesia then, H.E. General (ret) Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, to Athens in March 2022 have brought the discussion that covered efforts to elevate the existing Letter of Intent (LoI) 2016 on Defence Cooperation to its next level to support a more strategic and comprehensive partnership of both nations in the future.

🇬🇷 Μάιος 2026. Συνάντηση του Πρέσβη της Δημοκρατίας της Ινδονησίας στην Ελλάδα, Dr. Bebeb A.K. Nugraha Djundjunan, με τον Υπουργό Εθνικής Άμυνας της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας, κ. Νίκο Δένδια, στο Υπουργείο Εθνικής Άμυνας.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης, οι δύο πλευρές διαπίστωσαν από κοινού ότι, η συνεχώς αναπτυσσόμενη συνεργασία μεταξύ Ινδονησίας και Ελλάδας στους τομείς της άμυνας και της θαλάσσιας ασφάλειας, αντανακλά τον στρατηγικό και σημαντικό ρόλο που διαδραματίζουν οι δύο χώρες στις αντίστοιχες περιοχές τους. Τόνισαν την ανάγκη περαιτέρω ενίσχυσης και εμβάθυνσης του στρατηγικού διαλόγου, καθώς και της διεύρυνσης των συζητήσεων για τεχνική συνεργασία, με απώτερο στόχο τη μετάβαση αυτής της συνεργασίας σε ένα επίπεδο ανώτερο από το ήδη υπάρχον.

Ο Πρέσβης και ο Υπουργός αντάλλαξαν απόψεις και υπογράμμισαν τις σημαντικές προοπτικές συνεργασίας στους τομείς της αμυντικής βιομηχανίας και των συστημάτων θαλάσσιας επιτήρησης, καθώς και τη συμβολή τους στην αντιμετώπιση των περιφερειακών και διεθνών προκλήσεων ασφάλειας και προστασίας.

Ως ναυτικά κράτη με κοινά συμφέροντα στην προστασία των θαλάσσιων οδών επικοινωνίας και στην αντιμετώπιση των εξελισσόμενων προκλήσεων της θαλάσσιας ασφάλειας, η Ινδονησία και η Ελλάδα επαναβεβαίωσαν τη σημασία της ενίσχυσης της συνεργασίας τους στους συγκεκριμένους τομείς.

Η τελευταία επίσκεψη του τότε Υπουργού Άμυνας της Ινδονησίας, Prabowo Subianto, στην Αθήνα, τον Μάρτιο του 2022, συνέβαλε ουσιαστικά στην προώθηση των διμερών σχέσεων. Στο πλαίσιο εκείνων των επαφών, συζητήθηκαν οι προσπάθειες αναβάθμισης της Επιστολής Πρόθεσης (Letter of Intent – LoI) του 2016 για την Αμυντική Συνεργασία, με στόχο τη διαμόρφωση μιας πιο στρατηγικής, ολοκληρωμένης και μακροπρόθεσμης εταιρικής σχέσης μεταξύ των δύο χωρών στο μέλλον.
