Με ευλάβεια και συγκίνηση, οι δρόμοι και οι διαδρομές των Επιταφίων συγκλίνουν, δημιουργώντας ένα κοινό σημείο προσευχής και περισυλλογής. Μια όμορφη πρωτοβουλία που ζωντανεύει την παράδοση και την ανανεώνει, τιμώντας το πνεύμα της Μεγάλης Εβδομάδας και φέρνοντας τους ανθρώπους πιο κοντά.

Visit Piskokefalo, a traditional village near Sitia, with a history dating back to the period of Venetian rule in Crete. It belonged to the fief of the Venetian-Cretan Kornaros family, from which the poet of Erotokritos, Vitsentzos Kornaros, originated. In the village, you can visit the Kornaros residence and watermill, as well as the Church of Saint George, which bears their coat of arms.

Ανήκε στο φέουδο της Ενετοκρητικής οικογένειας των Κορνάρων, από την οποία προέρχεται ο ποιητής του «Ερωτόκριτου» Βιτσέντζος Κορνάρος. Στο χωριό μπορείτε να επισκεφτείτε την οικία και το νερόμυλο των Κορνάρων καθώς και την εκκλησία του Αγίου Γεωργίου που φέρει το οικόσημο τους.
