The Embassy of India participated in the Asia Business Summit 2026, organized by Chamber of Commerce in Guatemala showcasing India's vast trade and investment opportunities across sectors including pharmaceuticals, leather, automobiles, electronics, electric vehicles (EVs), agricultural machinery, and more.

The Embassy also promoted major international trade fairs being organised in India in the coming months and is facilitating the participation of Guatemalan businesses to strengthen bilateral trade and business partnerships. 🇮🇳🇬🇹

The Embassy of India in Guatemala, in coordination with the Municipality of Santa Catarina, organized a screening of the acclaimed Indian film Dollu in Spanish on 23 July 2026 at INED Instituto Nacional de Diversificado.

Around 50 students attended the screening, experiencing India's rich cultural heritage through cinema and meaningful storytelling.

Yoga workshop held on July 21st at the República de Panamá School in Guatemala City. The workshop was heñd in two groups of 50 children each. They enjoyed the yoga session and learned about the importance of breathing to calm the mind and body, combined with asanas that were new to them, this provided a much needed moment of rest in their day.
