Over the last 4 years, we have been watching, praying, and walking alongside.

❤️Now, we REJOICE at what only God can do. He TRANSFORMS hearts and lives!

🙏And just as R chose “The Blessing” to be sung at his baptism, we CLAIM Jesus all around him, and we CLAIM that he is the start of a thousand generations of knowing and serving God.

Look who just leveled up in her online English classes! 🎉

Earlier this year, she shared that she wanted to improve her English by taking online classes. Thanks to the generosity of her supporters and her own hard work, she’s doing just that.

We’re in the middle of Guatemala’s rainy season, but it has been an unusually dry year. Because of that, we’re still having to buy water. Right now, our municipality only provides water for about 3–4 hours every other day, and it isn’t enough to meet the needs of our children, staff, and school.

For many of us, turning on the faucet and having clean water come out is something we rarely think about. Taking a shower or washing dishes is just part of our daily routine. Here, every shower, load of laundry, and meal requires us to consider whether there will be enough water to get through the day.

Please pray that God will send rain and continue to provide for every need.

Praise God for His faithfulness! His faithfulness reaches every child that has ever been with us.

Psalm 36:5, “Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.”

* Big smiles.
* A LOVE for music
* Tight hugs.

When children leave us, they are not forgotten. We continue to pray for them and hold them in our hearts as we trust the Lord to continue to be with them and care for them.

On Monday we visited two children that had been with us for many years. Many of you also loved and cared for them on your visits here, prayed for them, and helped meet their many physical needs.

Last year, they were transferred out of our care to a special needs home to receive more specific care. We still miss their presence at the Nest but want to share with you that they are being loved and cared for well. Our reunion with them was so sweet.

🩷They are growing, receiving specialized physical and sensorial therapies, and an education. While there, the kind and loving staff gave us a tour. They knew each child and adult specifically, addressed them with dignity, and tailored their care individually to the very best of their ability.

While on our tour, we were also surprised to see a little girl who had also been with us for a time. She immediately recognized us and lunged into our arms!

We thank God for the opportunity to visit them and that He is faithful and loves each child even more than we do. One day there will be an amazing, much bigger reunion in heaven!

This morning our kids gathered by the lake for Sunday worship along with all the other kids in our church family. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy of worshiping and delighting in the Lord’s creation together.

Getting all of the kids to church each Sunday isn’t always easy, but it’s something we make a priority. We want them to grow up surrounded by a community of believers who will encourage them, pray for them, and help them grow in their faith.

We’re grateful for mornings like these, for our church family, and for YOU!

Only 4 weeks ago, this precious child (along with his brothers) arrived at our home frightened, severely malnourished, and carrying the weight of neglect.

Today, we see fuller cheeks, a brighter smile, and a child who is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for.

This miraculous transformation is possible because of God’s faithfulness and because so many of you choose to pray, give, and GO. Every act of generosity helps create a place where healing begins and hope grows.
