Looking for Qualified Individuals with the Intent to Transport Patients in a Safe and Respectful Manner.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive ambulances or assist ambulance drivers in transporting sick, injured, or convalescent persons.
• Remove and replace soiled linens or equipment to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Place patients on stretchers and load stretchers into ambulances, usually with assistance from medics.
• Accompany and assist emergency medical technicians on calls.
• Earn and maintain appropriate certifications.
• Replace supplies and disposable items on ambulances.
• Report facts concerning accidents or emergencies to hospital personnel or law enforcement officials.

All applicants must present a Medical Health Certificate in addition to an updated Guam Police and Court Clearance. Also, any applicants must have a Class B License (Chauffeur's).

The EMS Committee selected Saint Joseph’s New Hope Medical Transport very own Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Christian Dennis, as Guam’s 2016 EMT of the Year. The EMS Committee has established this award to honor the medical professionals servicing the people of Guam, calling it the Star of Life Award. The Award Ceremony and EMS Proclamation Signing will be hosted at the Governor’s Conference Room in Adelup on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:30AM.

This unique tribute is meant to recognize outstanding individuals in their quest to provide quality care for the local community that require medical attention; showcasing their efforts in the field and making a difference in people’s lives throughout Guam.

Whether it is extra early mornings that start at 4:00AM assisting the transport of disabled patients or late nights inputting medical information for these patients, Mr. Christian Dennis has been commended for his enduring work ethic in providing the standard of excellence for all patients availing the services of Saint Joseph’s Medical Transport. It is apparent that Mr. Christian Dennis, along with all EMTs in the healthcare industry, asserts a vital role in the care and rehabilitation of local individuals requiring medical attention.

We congratulate Mr. Christian Dennis on this memorable accomplishment, in addition to your evolving character and professional experience. Your hard work and dedication serve as an inspiration to many, thank you for your service.
