Extension of Mainstay Lake Nursery School

The Regional Democratic Council, Region No. 2 – Pomeroon-Supenaam, has entered into a contract with Baigh Nauth Construction for the extension of the Mainstay Lake Nursery School.

The project, valued at $22 million, represents a significant investment in strengthening educational infrastructure within the region and providing improved facilities for our youngest learners.

The extension is expected to enhance the school’s capacity and create a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The Regional Democratic Council remains committed to advancing development across Region Two and ensuring that our children have access to safe, suitable, and quality learning environments.

At the signing ceremony yesterday were top Region Two officials: Regional Chairman, REO, DREO, Engineer, Education Officer, Toshao of Mainstay-Whaiaka, PM Representative, HM of Mainstay Lake Nursery School, and residents of the Mainstay Village.

Investing in education today is investing in the future of Region Two.
