Here’s a Snap Shot of the behavior, of some of these Dishonorable Ministers, and Senior Functionaries of this PPP Administration.
This Bullyish type of Behavior is very characteristic of some of these individuals, and seems to be the Norm, when they can’t get their way. This is yet another Example of Poor Governance by this Installed Government.

Eight councilors of the Municipality of Mahdia were sworn in today. Amidst heavy political interference by Amerindian Affairs Minister Ms. Pauline Sukhai, Local Government and Regional Development Minister Mr. Anand Persaud, former minister of Local Gov't, now Local Government Commissioner Mr. Whittaker and a public servant/PPP Region 8 party executive Mr. Britton.
Discord and dishonor follows closely on the heels of Pauline Sukhai as she invaded the elections of Deputy Mayor, as was being conducted by the Mayoe elect. The political interloper violated the very first sitting of the Council, as they kept shouting instructions to the hapless mayor on what to do and what not to do. Young Britton, Deputy Regional worming his way up to the podium, where the mayor was duly conducting the elections, telling her what to do. Pauline loudly calling Anand on the phone so that he can instruct the (poor young lady) on what to do, and he telling blurring out instructions on how to proceed. God help us in Mahdia. All the while Councillor Fraser calling for order to be observed as it was a serious breach in protocol and Standing Order for person(s) to be verbally and physically interrupting Council's meeting.
Earlier, Mr Whittaker had the temerity, audacity and insensitivity to plant himself at the head table and proceed to threaten the Town Clerk as to what she should do and when she should do so. Again he was confronted by Councillor Fraser who called his presence an illegal imposition and demanded that he stay put and desist from his intrusive behaviours. The Local Government Commissioner had earlier accosted the Town Clerk saying that he was responsible for appointments and discipline and that she needed to get in line.
The meeting ended abruptly, without the election of the Finance Committee Chair, as Pauline Sukhai shouted from the back of the meeting, "Eslyn close de meeting." Once more Councillor Fraser called for some manner of order and discipline to be observed by all as the Minister keeps imposing herself on the Council. The mayor obediently complied and close the meeting.
After that helll broke loose! A battle of words as the dishonorable Pauline was verbally attacked by residents observing the meeting.
