If you have, then you knowโ€”itโ€™s more than just a stop. Itaballi is the main gateway for miners heading into Guyanaโ€™s interior. Every day, trucks and boats leave from this point carrying workers, fuel, and supplies to the gold mining backdams.

One of the closest and busiest destinations from Itaballi is Puruni Landing. From there, miners continue deeper into the forest to reach various mining camps and claims.
