🗳️ A New Era of Student Leadership at Westminster Secondary School! 🎉

We are proud to announce the formation of our very first Student Government at Westminster Secondary School!

This exciting initiative gives students a stronger voice through an expanded leadership team and representation from across the school. Even more exciting, seven students are contesting the position of President, bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the election process.

With student-led campaigns, speeches, posters, and voting already underway, our students are actively embracing democracy, leadership, and civic responsibility.

We look forward to seeing this new Student Government serve as a positive force for student engagement and school development.

CSEC Examination Update – Tuesday, 9th June, 2026

Caribbean History Paper 1
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

Today marks a significant milestone at Westminster Secondary School as Caribbean History Paper 1 is the final CSEC examination to be written by our students for the 2026 examination period.

We extend our very best wishes to all candidates. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you to this point. Remain focused, confident, and give your best effort.

Important Reminders:

No cell phones are allowed in the examination room.
Smart watches and other smart devices are strictly prohibited.
Students should be seated at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination.

Grade 9 CVQ Commercial Food Preparation Practical Session🍽️

Today, 8th June, 2026, our Grade 9 CVQ Commercial Food Preparation students demonstrated their culinary skills during a practical session as they applied the knowledge and techniques learned in the classroom.

Students successfully prepared a variety of delicious dishes, including:

Meatballs
Fish Fingers
Fresh Salad
Sponge Cake
Cheese and Crackers

These practical activities form an important part of the CVQ Commercial Food Preparation Programme, providing students with hands-on experience in food preparation, presentation, kitchen safety, and teamwork.

We commend our students for their creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment to developing valuable culinary and employability skills.
