MISSION STATEMENT | The Mission of the Guyana Police Force and its Auxiliaries is to serve all citizens and communities of Guyana in a professional, pro-active and accountable manner. To achieve this we will work in partnership with communities, public agencies and private bodies to enhance and support an environment where all people are preventing crime and buildin

6. The apprehention of offenders
7. The due enforcement of all laws and regulationswith which it is directly charged and shall perform such military duties within Guyanaas maybe required of it by or under the authority of the Minister. AIM | Our Services will be aimed at:
1. Respecting and recognising human rights;
2. Working with all communities to develop policing services necessary and appropriate to those communities;
3. Building partnerships with all sectors of Guyana Society, including Commercial
and Voluntary Groups;
4. Working to develop Community Policing Programmes in conjunction with
Community Policing Groups;
5. Improving working relationships with other agencies within the Justice Sector and
other Government Departments to improve inter-agency achievements;
6. Establishing enhanced working relationships with regional law enforcement
agencies; and
7. Building a Police Force that through the correct training, access to the right
equipment and technologies and adherence to standards will better serve the
people of Guyana. VISION | Our vision for the Force is summarised as:
1. Recruitment of suitably qualified persons for the Force recognising our people are
our most important asset;
2. Development of our staff with the right skills to undertake their role effectively in
the context of modern policing;
3. A more professional and accountable Police Force driven by increased public
expectations;
4. Increased and appropriate use of Information Technology across the GPF to
improve our service delivery;
5. Generation and use of accurate data to support intelligence led policing;
6. Use of measurement, monitoring and planning techniques to deliver effective and
efficient police services; and
7. Provision of suitable premises that support modern police practices.

Flava De Stage

On 15th April, 2023, it was a historic moment at the Diamond Market Tarmac. The setting, stage, audience, performers, judges, BBQ, and fog were set and lit for the hosting of the Region 4 B edition of Flava De Stage powered by the Guyana PoliceForce and Men on Mission.

The officials were on the spot to witness and even aid the smooth progression of the event. Timothy Roberts serenaded the gathering, and on completion of competition, Chief Judge Joel Ghansham, assisted by Miss Shivanie Latchman and Mr Leonard Gildharie announced the winners:-

1st Grove Trendsetters: Trophy and 70,000 cash
2nd Ash Dance Group: Trophy and 50,000 cash
3rd Tigerbone/Bannakarie: Trophy and 20,000 cash

Additional trophies and cash prizes were awarded by the Regional Commander, with the top finishers receiving further sums of 50,000, 30,000, and 20,000 cash from Mr Gildharie of PIXELS INC.

Special awards were made to:
Sergeant Olanzo Webster (trophy), Ms. Amy (25,000 cash), the youngest performer and member of the Tigerbone team.
The event was graced with the presence of Honorable Minister Kwame McCoy, Members of the Station Management Committees of 4 B, Road Safety Council 4 B, Guyana Revenue Authority, the Private Sector and the all important Partner of the Police: our valued Public.

Special mention is made of our partners AGM, KGM, Blackwater Tactical, Delta, AAI, JB international, Junior Ramkelawan, Andrew Binda, and not forgetting Stan Gouviea. To the leadership of the GPF, we express our gratitude.

Best of luck to Grove Trendsetters at the finals as we aspire through them for the eventful title of Flava De Stage 2023 Dance Champs.

Regional Division 4(B)

On today's date, traffic ranks of Regional Police Division 4’B’ erected signage as a further aid to road users where there are schools along the Diamond Access Road. This is an added measure by Regional Police to improve road safety and awareness by motorists. The planting of the signs was done by Sergeant Dowlin and Lance Corporal Loncke. Regional Commander partnered with Andrews Enterprise to fabricate the signs.

Your distinguished presence is required at our event come Saturday, April 15th, 2023 the Diamond Market Tarmac will be lit as Flava De Stage powered by the Guyana Police Force and Men on Mission hosted by Regional Police Division 4’B’ will be held.

Community Outreach/kite distribution

On 09th April 2023 Sergeant Phillips and ranks of Kuru Kururu Police Outpost in collaboration with the CPG members of Ideal Road Waiakabra held a kite distribution within kuru kururu Station district.

Approximately 400 kites were distributed to youths within the community. Issues and concerns were also discussed and addressed much to the resident's satisfaction.

As efforts continue to enhance the Timehri Public Road and supporting structures, Regional Police in 4 B assisted by TSK Enterprise repainted two complete pedestrian crossings at:-

(1)St Marys Primary School, Soesdyke Public Road East Bank Demerara.

(2)Soesdyke Nursery School, Soesdyke East Bank Demerara.

The collaboration will continue as all such pedestrian crossings will be repainted for the new school term.

Sergeant Bentick and R/Sergeant Nellie Gordon recently provided smiles to youngsters in the Golden Grove/ Diamond Station compound as they presented them with kits for the Easter weekend, as police ranks throughout the region continue to donate kites to children as Easter approaches.

DIVISIONAL BOUNDARIES

That part of the state bounded on the north by the east bank of the Demerara River eastwards along the common boundary between Plantations Eccles and Agricola to Lamaha Canal; on the east by the Lamaha Canal in the rear of the estates on the East Coast and East Bank of Demerara through the watershed between the Demerara and Mahaica Rivers, along the eastern and up to southern boundary of Moblissa; the thalweg of the Moblissa River and its western prolongation from its intersection with the western prolongation of the northern boundary of lease A7557 to its intersection with mean low water mark on the left bank of the Demerara River.
