Hub Manager's Training

The Office of the Prime Minister today launched cohort 8 of its ICT Hub Manager's training. The training activity is currently held at Pomeroon Supenaam region 2.

Forty three (43) participants were drawn from all ten administrative regions.

The two week training session will see participants exposed to theoretical amd practical exercises in management and ICT practices.

Region 8 |Maikwak

The community of Maikwak in Region 8 now benefits from a new state of the art ICT facility. This ICT Hub was recently completed by the Office of the Prime Minister and will soon be operational.

The construction of this Hub is part of a wider plan to provide this type of facility to all of the village within region 8.

To date, the project under Project Manager Ronald Harsawack has completed 95% coverage within region 8.

Over the past few days participants were certified in areas of computing, word and number processing, email and internet along with other theoretical exposures.
