Please be advised that members of the Prospect Community Policing Group (CPG) will be conducting a Community Walkabout on Sunday, March 1st, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m.
During this time, CPG members will be walking through the area to:
• Meet and greet residents
• Introduce the newly elected CPG Executive and Members
• Share information about our upcoming Community Outreach Programme
• Assist persons who are not yet in the Prospect WhatsApp group to get connected
We encourage residents to feel free to engage with our members, share concerns, and get to know the team working to support the safety and well-being of Prospect.

The Prospect Community Policing Group (CPG), Division A2/4B, East Bank Demerara, is pleased to formally introduce its duly elected executive and committee members following the Annual Elections Meeting held on 6th February 2026 at the Farm/Herstelling Police Station Compound.
The executive leadership of the Prospect CPG is as follows:
Ms. Natoya Gibson, Chairwoman;
Mr. Deshawn Abrams, Vice Chairman;
Mr. Mark Shortt, Secretary;
Mr. Richard Forde, Treasurer;
Mr. Aaqib Khan, Public Relations Officer; and
Mr. Carlton Allen, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.
The Group is further supported by the following Committee Members:
Mr. Charles Paul, Mr. Neville Thomas, Ms. Tamica Noel, Mr. Michael Baboolall, Ms. Amaly Kowlessar, Ms. Anastacia Kowlessar, Mr. Charan Persaud, Ms. Ulecia Bishop, Mr. Johnny Hieronymo, and Mr. Teresh Singh.
The Prospect CPG continues to work in close collaboration with the Guyana Police Force and relevant stakeholders, including representatives of Division A2/4B, to promote safety, security, and community partnership within Prospect and its environs.
This team is committed to transparency, cooperation, and proactive engagement as we work collectively toward a safer and more secure community. We look forward to the continued support and participation of residents and stakeholders in achieving our shared goals.

This individual posed a serious threat to the community. Earlier this morning, he attempted to arm a resident and caused significant disturbance in the area. The matter was brought to our attention by Vice Chairman Abrams. Acting promptly, Chairwoman Gibson and PRO Khan coordinated efforts to track the individual, and with the assistance of the patrol unit, he was apprehended. He is now in custody and no longer poses a threat to the community.
