Young leaders, bright futures, stronger China-Guyana friendship!
On September 24, the Chinese Embassy in Guyana and the Ministry of Education celebrated the winners of the 5th China-Guyana Friendship Youth Leadership Development Competition.
Ambassador Yang Yang encouraged the students to dream big, serve their communities, and become young ambassadors of friendship between our two countries. Deputy Chief Education Officer Ms. Harvey also praised their achievements and encouraged them to keep contributing to Guyana’s development.

Congratulations to all participants on successfully completing the China-aid training program on digital development of Guyana’s healthcare sector!
The closing ceremony marked not only the completion of the program, but also another step forward in China-Guyana health cooperation and friendship. Participants also received their certificates and joined us in celebrating the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival!

H.E. President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali warmly received members of the 21st Chinese Medical Team for a farewell visit. H.E. Ambassador Yang Yang attended.
President Ali expressed his gratitude to the team. The visit also reaffirmed the strong friendship between China and Guyana and the shared commitment to deepening health cooperation.
