The Department of Consumer Affairs extends heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mr. Kadeem Gordon. What began as a professional connection grew into a genuine friendship, and his loss is deeply felt. He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the impact he made. May he rest in peace.

Disbelief is where we find ourselves, trying to come to terms with a loss that has hit us deeply.

Kadeem Gordon served with distinction as Special Projects Officer and Personal Assistant to Hon. Oneidge Walrond, Minister of Home Affairs. While he continued in this role at the Ministry of Home Affairs, his time at the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce remains close to us. He played an integral role in supporting the Ministry’s work during a period of growth for the sector, doing so with quiet strength and consistency.

On behalf of the Director, Deputy Director, and staff of the Guyana Tourism Authority, we extend our condolences to his family, friends, and all whose lives he has impacted.
