Grove, we’re in your neighbourhood and you know what that means? Removal of derelicts on the road shoulders.

Photographed below are some of the vehicles that have since been removed.

Please noted the Ministry continues to issue removal notices. The Ministry strongly reminds the public that road shoulders are not designated storage spaces and must remain clear for the safety of all road users.

As standard procedure, failure to remove these vehicles will see the Ministry stepping in to have them removed. Please note, the property of all owners who continue to relocate from one location to another, and/or continue to disregard the removal notices, will be seized.

Further, neither the Ministry nor the government is interested in permanently withholding property. Please be advised that all costs associated with the removal, once done by the Ministry, will be the sole responsibility of the default owner. To reclaim any seized property, owners are required to visit the Ministry to settle the outstanding removal cost before the items can be uplifted.

The Ministry thanks the public for their continued cooperation and support in keeping the roadways clear and safe.

TAKING SHAPE|| Designated area for the Tarmac at the Soesdyke Junction is sand filled and advancing.

Photographed below are preparatory civil works that have advanced on the new tarmac area. This essential phase facilitates the relocation of the existing car park and local vendors, clearing the main project alignment so physical construction on the new roundabout can begin this week.

With rolling and compaction of the white sand base now nearing completion, site operations are on track to smoothly move to the next set of works.

Look out for more updates as works continue at the Soesdyke Junction.

The development spotlight in Linden continues today with a closer look at the transformative works being undertaken in Amelia’s Ward.

Through the continued efforts of the Ministry, approximately 80% of the road network in Amelia’s Ward has now been completed, marking significant progress in the ongoing drive to improve infrastructure and connectivity across the community. The remaining sections are currently underway and will further enhance access for residents, businesses and other road users.

These works are part of the broader commitment to upgrading Linden’s infrastructure and for the residents of Amelia’s Ward, this progress represents more than improved roadways—it means easier movement, better access to homes and businesses, improved connectivity and infrastructure that can support continued growth and development.

As works continue, the Ministry remains focused on completing the outstanding sections and delivering lasting improvements that will positively impact communities across Linden.

Step by step, community by community, Linden is taking on a new look and among the communities benefiting from Linden’s continued transformation is Retrieve, Mackenzie, where infrastructure rehabilitation and development are creating a more improved, functional and attractive environment for residents.

One of the notable features is the oval-style community layout, complemented by newly completed concrete and asphalt paved works.

These upgrades were executed by the Ministry’s Linden team and have helped to improve access and provide residents with infrastructure that is better suited to the needs of a growing and developing region.

The improvements in Retrieve form part of the wider, ongoing efforts to rehabilitate and develop infrastructure across Linden—ensuring that communities are not left behind as Region 10 continues to advance.
