Today, NDMA delivered internet services to the newly constructed Nursery School as well as the Primary School in Taushida Village, located in the South Pakaraimas Sub-District of Region 9.

This adds to the previously installed services at the Health Centre and ICT Hub.

Sunyta Johnny, Headteacher of the Primary School, explained that since the internet was installed in 2024, teachers benefitted tremendously, including being able to do online programmes offered by the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) from the comfort of the village. In the past, they would have had to go to Annai Village (about 2 hours away), which would have
meant spending time away from home and family.

Today, the NDMA team delivered Internet Services to the Teachers' Quarters. This adds to the existing services at the ICT Hub, Health Post, Nursery School and Primary School.
