Walter Rodney Youth Movement This Movement was founded out of the need for Youth to become more actively involved in politics and nation building.

Walter Rodney Youth Movement is committed to the creation of a national government that recognizes the preamble of Guyana's constitution which states:

“that the future of Guyana belongs to its young people, who aspire to live in a safe society which respects their dignity, protects their rights, recognize their potential, listens to their voices, provides opportunities, ensures a healthy environm

ent and encourage people of all races to live in harmony and peace.”

With this in mind the Walter Rodney Youth Movement will challenge the youth of our country to play an active role in community and national development while ensuring that those in government create policies that respond to the preamble of the Constitution of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana for the benefit of our youth.
