Naresh Rajram aka as Naro Raj (on fb) has been removed from his position: the proprietors (land owners) and the people in the community made that decision.
He has been making criticism posts on fb against our organization and targeting our club’s President.
Public please take note!
There were too many members of the Rajram family that was part of the organization: Mr. Jairam P Jaman, hand in hand with the Rajrams, fabricated a document stating that they decided to remove the President. The cricket ground made up of various lands that was donated for the community benefits, the land owners met recently at a general meeting and firmly established that the Rajrams be removed from their positions with immediate effect. Also, Jairam P Jaman and his wife, Lydia Jaman, has been calling themselves the ‘co-founders’ of Vikings cricket ground. They have also been removed, along with Roopnarine Ramdharry. These members were creating too much chaos within the organization. Please disregard any comments from them made against our organization.

Important Notice:

The Land Proprietors of the No. 69 Vikings Cricket Ground convened a general meeting this afternoon to discuss matters concerning the management and future development of the organization.

During the meeting, several concerns were raised regarding six individuals who previously served as members of the Executive Committee and as Trustees of the No. 69 Vikings Cricket Club. After careful consideration, a motion was moved and carried by the Land Proprietors.

Effective immediately, the six individuals in question have been permanently removed from all positions within the organization. The names of these individuals are:

Jairam Persaud Jaman
Diane Lydia Jaman
Naresh Rajram
Rajendra Rajram
Rajram Sukaran
Roopnarine Ramdharry

This decision was made in the best interest of the No. 69 Vikings Cricket Ground and its continued growth.
The meeting also included productive discussions with the remaining members and community representatives regarding future plans aimed at improving and advancing the cricket ground for the benefit of all.

We thank the community for its ongoing support and will continue to provide updates as plans progress.

The Queensway Inter-County Super50 Cup is set for a dramatic spike in quality with the confirmed return of three West Indies Test players for the crucial Round Three fixtures this Saturday.

The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) announced on Saturday that Tevin Imlach, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, and Kevlon Anderson—all recently returned from the West Indies' tour of India—will immediately take on captaincy roles for their respective county teams, injecting high-level international experience into the competition.

Demerara (17 points): Will be led by wicketkeeper-batsman Tevin Imlach. Demerara currently tops the points table and will look to Imlach's composure to maintain their lead.

GCB Select XI (0 points): Opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul takes the helm of the youthful Select XI. Chanderpaul’s ability to anchor an innings will be crucial for a side yet to register a point.

Berbice (12 points): Middle-order batsman Kevlon Anderson steps in as captain, replacing the injured fast bowler Nial Smith. The Berbice side also receives a massive boost by including power-hitter Shimron Hetmyer.

The third round features two vital clashes that could significantly reshape the table:

Essequibo (11 points) vs. GCB Select XI (0 points): Saturday, October 18, at the Lusignan Community Centre Ground. Chanderpaul's Select XI will face a difficult challenge against the motivated Essequibo side.

Demerara (17 points) vs. Berbice (12 points): Saturday, October 18, at the No. 69 Ground in Berbice. This match is a crucial top-of-the-table battle, with Imlach's Demerara aiming to cement their lead against a strong Berbice unit now boasting both Anderson and Hetmyer.
