“Receiving the Chevening Scholarship has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life. It gave me the opportunity to study public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, one of the world's leading universities in the field.
Throughout the year, I discovered my interest in health economics, where I could apply my clinical knowledge as an occupational therapist. I was fortunate to learn from prominent researchers, supportive academics and peers with remarkable expertise and professional experience. The welcoming environment encouraged me to explore new ideas, build networks and engage in meaningful exchanges. Most memorably, I've connected with like-minded scholars, classmates and friends from all over the world, forming friendships and perspectives that will stay with me far beyond this year.
Chevening has offered me more than the chance to study at a world-class institution. It has also welcomed me into a lifelong network of leaders and future leaders across the globe. I am sincerely grateful for this life-changing experience, and I cannot wait to apply what I have learnt in this year to drive meaningful change in Hong Kong’s healthcare landscape!”
