We are delighted to share that the Geneva-based Bose-Pastor-Duo, featuring pianists Pia Bose and Antonio Pastor, will be performing in Hong Kong as part of the Musica del Cuore concert series.

Under the theme "Crossing Musical Boundaries: HUMAN - NATURE", the duo will perform works by Franz Liszt, Carl Vine, and Fazil Say.

What a wonderful evening at the EU-Asia Documentary Festival 2026! 🎬✨

Consul Jonathan Andrey had the pleasure of attending the opening night at PALACE ifc, which kicked off with the screening of the Irish film Gealtra.

Running through August 9, the festival showcases powerful stories across both continents. Switzerland’s entry, "Under the Spell of Quartz Crystals" by Irene Marty, takes audiences high into the Urner Alps to follow local crystal hunters (Strahlner) risking raw mountain elements and melting glaciers in search of hidden treasures 🏔️💎

A New Conversation Begins: BODW 2026 Reveals “Design in Dialogue: Connect + Transform” 💬

The official visual identity for Business of Design Week (BODW) 2026 is here, introducing this year’s theme: “Design in Dialogue: Connect + Transform.”

With Switzerland as our year-round Partner Country for the first time, BODW 2026 celebrates a shared vision between Hong Kong and Switzerland—where cross-cultural dialogue drives collaboration, innovation, and real-world impact. 🇭🇰🇨🇭

📅 Save the date: Business of Design Week (BODW) 2026 will take place from 16–21 November 2026, with the 3-Day Summit held from 18–20 November 2026.

BODW 2026 Visual Identity Design Competition

Co-organised by Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Hong Kong, the competition invited Swiss design students to interpret the power of dialogue through bold, forward-looking visual identities.

Acting Consul General Françoise Killias Zillweger was delighted to join the Lions Clubs International MD 102 Switzerland-Liechtenstein reception during the Lions Clubs International Convention in Hong Kong. She delivered the opening remarks, highlighting Switzerland's strong footprint in the city.

The reception provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, forge new connections, and enjoy many inspiring conversations in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

A special congratulations to Robert Rettby on his election as Third Vice President of Lions Clubs International. His election marks a historic milestone, as he becomes the first Swiss to serve in this prestigious international leadership position. We wish him every success in this important new role.

Our sincere thanks to Lions MD 102 Switzerland–Liechtenstein for the kind invitation and warm hospitality. It was a pleasure to be part of such a memorable evening 🤝🦁

We were absolutely delighted to welcome students from Tsang P*k Shan (Sung Lan) Secondary School 曾璧山（崇蘭）中學 for a special visit to discover Switzerland!

It was a pleasure to meet such curious, engaged, and enthusiastic students. Together, we explored the many connections and surprising similarities between Hong Kong and Switzerland, as well as Switzerland’s strong footprint in Hong Kong.
