🇺🇸🇭🇰 The United States established an enduring diplomatic relationship with Hong Kong in 1843. Maintaining those ties was not always easy, especially when travel was far less convenient than it is today.🌃U.S. diplomat Cecil B. Lyon recalled that, in 1930s Hong Kong, even getting to a dinner engagement could be quite an adventure.

President Donald J. Trump President Trump’s Administration has taken decisive action to combat illicit drugs and synthetic poisons:

✅ Helped drive a 22% decline in fentanyl deaths and a 14% decrease in total drug overdose deaths, saving thousands of American lives.
✅ Strengthened border security to combat cartel operations and dismantle fentanyl supply chains.
✅ Disrupted maritime drug-trafficking routes used to smuggle illicit narcotics into the United States.
✅ Launched the Great American Recovery Initiative to enhance prevention, expand treatment, and support long-term recovery.

Dolly 出生於田納西州東部，佢嘅音樂跨越世代，啟發咗無數歌手，對美國音樂文化影響深遠。為咗紀念唔識讀寫嘅父親，佢喺1995年創辦「想像力圖書館」，免費送贈書籍俾美國同世界各地嘅幼兒，鼓勵閱讀，為推動教育作出重要貢獻。

我哋以 Dolly 嘅說話紀念呢位傳奇人物：「了解自己係邊個，然後有目標咁活出自己。」多謝你，Dolly。你非凡嘅才華、慷慨嘅心，同埋對國家嘅熱愛，將永遠被銘記。

Today, we honor the life and legacy of American country music legend Dolly Parton, whose voice, songwriting, and generosity touched generations of Americans and people around the world.

Rooted in East Tennessee, Dolly shaped American music across generations and inspired countless artists. Through her Imagination Library, founded in 1995 in honor of her father who never learned to read or write, she donated free books to millions, improving literacy in the United States and around the globe.

Let us remember Dolly by living her words: “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” Thank you, Dolly. Your extraordinary talent, generosity, and enduring love of country will always be remembered.

上星期我到訪香港港安醫院－司徒拔道 Hong Kong Adventist Hospital - Stubbs Road ，親身了解美國研發嘅第五代國際級機械臂手術系統運作。🇺🇸🏥

身為一個密西根人，今次參觀特別有意義，因為基督復臨安息日會醫療集團嘅起源地正正喺 #密西根州巴特溪。

Last week I visited the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road to see the U.S.-developed 5th-Generation International-Grade robotic surgical system in action. 🇺🇸🏥

As a proud Michigander, it was especially meaningful to visit an institution with roots that trace back to Battle Creek, —the birthplace of the global Adventist health network.

Seeing this cutting-edge American technology— the first 5th-Generation robotic surgical system installed in China—was incredible. The technology offers surgeons greater precision while supporting faster recovery for patients. I’m thrilled to see American medical innovation in use in Hong Kong and beyond!🌏– CG Julie

較早前，我哋邀請學生參加以「我嘅美國英雄」為題嘅徵文比賽。得獎者 Gisele Wong 嘅英雄係一位美國作家同殘疾人士權益倡議者 Helen Adams Keller。Helen 喺 19 個月大時失去視力同聽力，卻仍然奉獻一生，為他人爭取權利。✍️

Earlier this year, we invited students to take part in an essay competition about their American heroes. For winner Gisele Wong, that hero is Helen Adams Keller, an American author and disability rights advocate who lost her sight and hearing at 19 months old and devoted her life to advancing the rights of others. ✍️
