The Consulate had a privilege to join in the tour of the Prosperity & Magnificence – Civilisation of the Sui & Tang Dynasties in Shaanxi Province Exhibition.

The exhibition showcased more than 165 pieces of artifacts, showcasing Tang’s confidence and innovation alongside Hong Kong’s historic connections to the era.

Attendees were given an amazing narration of the history of Chinese people and the achievements of the Sui and Tang Dynasties in Shaanxi Province.

When we preserve our history for future generations, we uphold our identity and who we are as a people.

The Consulate recently attended the 2026 Colloquium on International Law which was organised by Asian Academy of International Law (AAIL). The event was centred on the legal frameworks, commercialization, sustainability, and dispute resolution infrastructure required for the rapid multi-trillion-dollar global space economy.

With the global space economy rapidly transitioning into a multi-trillion-dollar commercial ecosystem, projected to a potential trillion-dollar space economy by 2033, the event brought together over 190 legal experts and government officials from 43 jurisdictions to discuss Hong Kong's potential as a focal legal hub for aerospace governance.

The Consulate forged a partnership with Master Fung, a seasoned Chinese brush painting artist, to promote Zimbabwean arts and culture in the Hong Kong and China markets through brush painting. The partnership saw Master Fung do some live demonstration paintings at the Zimbabwe booth during the recently ended 4th Hong Kong Art Expo.

During the Expo, he did a live demonstration of the Balancing Rocks as well as Great Zimbabwe, in addition to his main drawing of the Victoria Falls. Hopes are that the partnership will go a long way in creating awareness on Zimbabwe to the Hong Kong and Chinese markets.
