DAVC 2026 Book Fair Evangelisation Eco-Bag
What can 3 plastic bottles be transformed into?
In response to the special Jubilee Year of Saint Francis, the Diocesan Audio-Visual Centre has collaborated with a local eco-organisation to launch the "Laudato si' · Plastic Reborn, Praise All Creation" evangelization eco-bag at the 2026 Book Fair – transformed from 3 recycled plastic bottles, bearing witness to the potential for resource regeneration!
The overall design of the eco-bag centres on a mobile phone, symbolising how the Diocesan Audio-Visual Centre keeps pace with the times and makes effective use of new media to evangelise. the cross and the dove of peace serve as a reminder that all evangelisation is centred on Christ; whilst the Hong Kong cityscape and natural elements such as trees echo the call to care for our common home as set out in the encyclical *Laudato si’*.
