講座由酉星老師詳細講述其從藝之路的感想和故事，交流文字與雕刻的心得和體會。由著名書法博士姜趙玉蓮主持。

「酉星」合而為「醒」—— 喚醒技藝與情感。香港著名雕刻藝術家酉星與學生以雕刻為媒，透過逾百件陶藝、木雕、石膏作品，展現藝術教育薪火相傳的力量。本次展覽與藝術家張覺之共同指導，參展單位包括嘉諾撒聖家學校（九龍塘）、嘉諾撒聖心學校、啟基學校及香港大學職員，不同背景與年齡層的創作者，一同譜寫生命的藝術風景和漢字的力量。展覽期間將舉辦專題講座「文字與雕刻漫談」，從文化與創作角度深入探討文字與雕刻之間的深厚關聯，理解與欣賞。誠邀您走進香港大學圖書館，親身感受雕刻藝術的溫度與力量，刀鋒與材質之間的刻畫與承傳。

導師：
酉星，原名張醒熊，香港著名雕刻藝術家，酷愛書畫陶藝，醉情竹木篆刻。2002年獲香港藝術發展局資助，舉辦個人雕刻藝術展；曾參與大嶼山「心經簡林」及「慈山寺」大型牌匾的雕刻工作；雕塑作品「回歸」﹑「自強不息」分別入選第十一及第十二屆全國美術作品展。目前榮膺多間學校﹑機構及團體的藝術顧問，並應邀在多間學校教授雕刻陶藝等課程。現為香港刻字藝術學會會長及多個藝術團體顧問﹑會員。目前開設「酉星藝術工作坊」從事專業藝術創作及教學工作。

導師：
張覺之，畢業於香港理工大學，深造於英國曼徹斯特科技大學深造。自小受父親張醒熊耳濡目染，喜愛藝術，多年來跟隨父親在工作坊及學校教授雕刻陶藝等藝術課程，協助父親完成多項工程及創作工作，立志繼承發揚此一傳統技藝。

多位尊貴嘉賓應邀主禮剪綵儀式，包括：嘉宏物流集團董事長劉石佑先生、中國古文字藝術學會會長中帑老師、嘉諾撒聖家學校（九龍塘）陳潔姮校長、嘉諾撒聖心學校何嘉儀校長、啟基學校何燕華校長、香港書藝會主席姜趙玉蓮博士、香港大學立之學院副院長Miss Sally Oh、香港中文大學聯合書院校友會會長李劍雄律師、墨耕書畫會創會理事長劉煥儀女士、張覺之老師、酉星老師，以及香港大學首席信息主管及大學圖書館館長伍麗娟女士。

酉星老師與張覺之老師更親手製作陶藝作品送贈予剪綵嘉賓。作品中篆印「壽而康」，採用難以掌控的石榴紅釉燒製，實為難得且珍貴的紀念品！
