天文台會在7月25日22:10發出八號熱帶氣旋警告信號，本港風勢將會增強。

在八號熱帶氣旋警告信號生效前約兩小時，天文台會發出「預警八號特別告示」。屆時政府會提醒返家路程偏遠、轉折或居住離島的市民應啟程回家。

The Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will be issued at 10:10 pm, 25 July. Winds locally will strengthen further.

“Pre-No.8 Special Announcement” will be issued about 2 hours before the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is in force. The Government will advise members of the public with long or difficult home journeys or having to return to outlying islands to begin their journeys by then.

On 23 July 2026, Consul General Muzambli Markam met with Professor Bennett Yim, Director of Undergraduate Admissions and International Student Exchange of The University of Hong Kong (HKU).

The meeting highlighted strong mutual support and shared commitment between both sides, particularly in welcoming the first cohort of Malaysian MARA scholarship students arriving at HKU in mid-August.

On 23 July 2026, Malaysia and Hong Kong signed MOUs to boost financial cooperation, simplify company listings and recognize mutual funds.

Hong Kong and Malaysia have signed Memorandums of Understanding to facilitate listings of companies and mutual recognition of funds, as financial and accounting regulators from both sides gathered in Kuala Lumpur to deepen capital market linkages.
