Meet George — our world-famous rescue 🐒💚
If you’ve ever visited Maya Key, chances are you’ve already fallen in love with him. George has been part of our family since 2009 and is one of our very first rescues.

His story is incredible: he was found in a dumpster in Utila, saved by a kind traveler, and later lived at a small hotel in West End. When he became a little too friendly (and a bit aggressive with guests), he was brought to us — a place where he could live safely, cared for, and respected.

Today, George enjoys his peaceful life at our Rescue Center, reminding us why our mission matters.
Because every animal deserves a second chance. 💚✨
