Another great fishing where on Roatan. i spent the day showing a guest how to cast. Wouldn't you know it...his first real cast was at a tailing permit.

Grand Cayman - Wow the number of Tarpon here is amazing. I'm going fishing with my new friend Rick tomorrow. Tarpon and Bones beware!

Finally got out on the boat and fished the South side near Port Royal. The sun never really came out, but the bones we're tailing all day. I hooked into a reel beast but broke him off in the coral after 10 mins of good fighting. Seems like that was how the whole day went. Hook up and break off. 12lbs tippet is just a little light for this kind of rocky technical fishing. Oh well, I did catch a nice blue runner.

Stuck at the house today. The waves are too big to get out side the reef. Guess I'll have to work on the boat instead. The new radio and ipod should be great for tunes.

Weather is approaching the Bay Islands today, but don't worry the fishing has not been effected. I spotted a 15 lbs permit by the dock this morning and had three good shots at him before a boat scared him away. In other news the Wahoo are coming in fast and hard. Yesterday nine 20 - 30 lbs we're caught and I'm planning on going teassing some up and throwing a fly at them tomorrow.
