🐒MONKEY MONDAY CONTINUES! 🍋

Did you know White-Faced Capuchins have their own way of “taking a shower”? 👀

Capuchins love to rub limes, lemons, and other strong-smelling plants all over their fur in a behavior called self-anointing.

Why do they do it?
Help keep pesky bugs away
Soothe itchy skin
And sometimes, it’s simply part of their social routine!

So while we might reach for perfume or cologne… capuchins reach for a lime!
