Slight set back - the 3 day (so far) storm collapsed the structure we had over the work area. Slight damage to the back end of the hull by falling 2x6. Luckily, we had removed the cockpit walls to do some work the day the storm hit. We hadn't been able to get enough clear weather to put them back on yet. If they had been on, the damage to the craft would have been much worse.

First pictures in a long time. I've been doing quite a bit of "real" work and have limited time to work on the hoverwing. We moved it to my house and I brought a couple of guys over from La Ceiba to help work on it. We're making progress now!

Yea! We installed the lift fan duct yesterday! Today we'll start on the cockpit. I've got to do some work off the island, so not much will happen over the weekend.

We started the template for the thrust duct and added some foam back in the lift duct hole.

I didn't take any pictures today, but we finished the bottom of the hull today!!!

Tomorrow we'll install the lift fan duct and start on the cockpit. We're about to see major changes! Until now all the work has not produced many visible results. It sure will be nice to start seeing changes!

OK - we cut the hole for the lift fan today! It was a bit nerve wracking, trying to make sure that it was absolutely correct before we cut a big hole in the hull!

No pictures from today, but went over to a friend's shop and got the pieces for the engine mount all cut out. When the new welder gets all setup, we'll go back and weld it all together. Thanks Joe Wonder for the help!
