🏊‍♂️🏃‍♂️ AKVATLON LAPAD | POSLJEDNJI AKVATLON MSL SEZONE 2026.

U subotu, 12. rujna, u Uvali Lapad održat će se posljednji akvatlon MSL sezone 2026.

Ovoga p**a akvatlon donosi potpuno novi koncept i kombinaciju trčanja i plivanja:

🏃‍♂️ 2,5 km trčanja
🏊‍♂️ 1 km plivanja
🏃‍♂️ 2,5 km trčanja za kraj

Sudjelovati se može individualno ili u štafeti, pri čemu jedan član trči, a drugi pliva.

Preporučuje se dolazak najmanje pola sata ranije radi preuzimanja brojeva te upoznavanja s rutom i pravilima.

🏊‍♂️🏃‍♂️ AQUATHLON LAPAD | FINAL AQUATHLON OF THE 2026 MSL SEASON

The final Aquathlon of the 2026 MSL season will take place in Lapad Bay on Saturday, 12 September.

This time, the event returns to Lapad Bay with a brand new concept combining running and swimming:

🏃‍♂️ 2.5 km run
🏊‍♂️ 1 km swim
🏃‍♂️ 2.5 km run to finish

Participants can take part individually or as a relay team, with one member running and the other swimming.

📍 Where: Lapad Bay
⏰ When: Saturday, 12 September, starting at 8:30 AM

Participants are advised to arrive at least half an hour earlier to collect their race numbers and get familiar with the route and rules.

U subotu, 12. rujna, Gruž će ponovno biti mjesto susreta, glazbe i dobre ljetne atmosfere. Na gruškoj rivi održat će se 𝗚𝗿𝘂𝘀̌𝗸𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝗰́, tradicionalna festa koja svake godine okuplja sugrađane i posjetitelje uz večer za pamćenje.

Program se održava u organizaciji 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰̌𝗸𝗲 𝘇𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗻𝗶𝗸𝗮 i Grad Dubrovnik, a za glazbeni dio večeri pobrinut će se popularna grupa 𝗥𝗶𝘀̌𝗽𝗲𝘁, čiji nastup počinje u 22 sata.

On Saturday, 12th September, Gruž will once again come alive with music, people and a warm summer atmosphere. 𝗚𝗿𝘂𝘇̌ 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 will take place on the Gruž waterfront, bringing together locals and visitors for one of Dubrovnik’s much-loved summer gatherings.

The event is organized by the 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗻𝗶𝗸 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 in cooperation with the Grad Dubrovnik, with a live concert by the popular Croatian group 𝗥𝗶𝘀̌𝗽𝗲𝘁 starting at 10:00 PM.

Organized by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the Grad Dubrovnik the programme 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 continues from 7 to 15 September with a series of music performances in the historic centre and Lapad Bay.

This week’s programme also highlights 𝗚𝗿𝘂𝘇̌ 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, which will take place on Saturday, 12 September, with a concert by the popular Croatian group Rišpet.

💊 A pharmacy with more than 700 years of history.

Hidden inside Dubrovnik’s Franciscan Monastery, the Old Pharmacy was founded in 1317 to prepare remedies for the friars and the local community.

Today, it is still in operation, making it one of the oldest continuously working pharmacies in Europe and a remarkable link between Dubrovnik’s medieval past and everyday life today.

Sometimes Dubrovnik’s smallest details have the best stories. ✨

This unusual stone face is called a maskeron, the name comes from the Italian mascherone, meaning a large decorative mask or carved face. 🎭

💦 These stone faces were traditionally used as architectural decoration and water spouts, directing rainwater away from buildings, while they were also believed to keep evil spirits away.

📌 This striking one can be found on the exterior of the Church of St. Blaise in the Old City.

Keep your eyes open when exploring Dubrovnik. You never know what you’ll find carved into its stone. 👀
