1.Etno Hvar Festival održati će se 20.06., tjedan dana uoči sv. Ivana i Pavla, na širem prostoru sela te na nedavno obnovljenom trgu (sredstvima EU fondova kroz projekt „Adristorical lands“) u etno eko selu Humac. Festival će službeno započeti u popodnevnim satima pozdravnim govorom načelnika Općine Jelsa u etno zbirci Humac, nakon čega slijedi zajednički posjet Grapčevoj špilji, jednom od n
ajstarijih nalazišta hvarske kulture i civilizacije na Jadranu. Događaj će uveličati najpoznatiji hrvatski alpinist, putopisac, i redatelj dokumentarnih filmova i emisija, Stipe Božić. Nakon obilaska Grapčeve špilje i ostalih atraktivnosti geografske lokacije, na trgu u Humcu odvijati će se program koji uključuje prezentaciju jela i kolača tradicionalne hvarske kuhinje, degustaciju vina s užeg lokaliteta te izvođenje tradicionalnih napjeva povodom vjerske svetkovine sv. Na obližnjim kamenim kućama biti će izložene slike zauvijek zaustavljenih hvarskih trenutaka, autora Pjera Grgičevića. U novoj suvenirnici tijekom cijelog dana prodavati će se Hrvatski otočni proizvod (HOP) otoka Hvara. U večernjim satima održati će se prezentacija knjige i filma Stipe Božića, „Ja, Mate svjetski“ u suradnji s FMFS i Kinom Mediteran, a po završetku projekcije nastaviti će se druženje uz pučke pjevače iz Vrisnika i tradicionalne pjesme otoka Hvara...
Na ovaj način se želi istaknuti važnost ovog povijesno-tradicionalnog vjerskog okupljanja te započeti sa sustavnom promocijom „etno-eko sela Humac“ kao nezaobilaznog turističkog izletišta na otoku Hvaru, ali u novije vrijeme i kao potencijalne destinacije u atraktivno obnovljenim objektima. Etno-eko selo Humac nudi izletnicima razgledanje odlično očuvane sklopove gospodarskih i stambenih objekata ruralne arhitekture, građenim vrlo često tehnikom suhozida, posjet etno-zbirci, mjesnoj crkvi, vidikovcu sa teleskopom, Grapčevoj špilji te destileriji eteričnog bilja. Dugoročni cilj je stvoriti tradicionalno godišnje događanje na otoku Hvaru koje će pridonijeti zajedničkoj promidžbi Etno-eko sela otoka Hvara. 1.Etno Hvar Festival will be held 20.06.2015., a week before St. Ivan and Paul, the Humac patron saint. It will take place in the wider area of the village and the newly renovated square (EU funds through the project "Adristorical Lands") at the ethno-eco village Humac. The festival will officially start in the afternoon at Humac ethno collection museum, followed by a visit to Grapčeva cave, one of the oldest sites of culture and civilization in the Adriatic.The event will be enriched by the famous Croatian alpinist, travel writer, and director of many documentary movies and shows , Stipe Božić. After visiting Grapčeva cave and other local geographic attractions, it's time for presentation of traditional Hvar cuisine, tasting local wine, listening local vocal music and performance of traditional folk songs on the occasion of the religious feast of St. On the nearby stone houses will be exhibited paintings that show captured moments of Hvar by local author Pjero Grgičević. Official Croatian island product (HOP) will be open all day long and will include a variety of traditional souvenirs and snacks. While the shadows of evening are covering Humac, we are starting to light up the most interesting part of a day; presentation of the book and documentary movie made by Stipe Bozic, "Ja, Mate svjetski" in cooperation with FMFS and Kino Mediterranean. It's a travelogue notes of the first Croatian globe trotter, Mate Šimunović from Vrgorac that traveled world by foot, bicycle and small sailing boat in 1930's together with his dog, Globus. You are free to prepare your questions for Stipe! The end of the projection will continue with harmony singing group Pučki pjevači from Vrisnik and traditional songs of the island ...
In a way, we want to emphasize the importance of this historical and traditional religious gatherings, and begin the systematic promotion of "eco-ethno village Humac" as an unavoidable place on the island with attractively restored buildings. Ethno-eco village Humac offers hikers a tour perfectly preserved residential buildings of rural architecture, constructed dry-wall technique, ethno-collection, the local church od St.Ivan and Paul, the lookout with a telescope, the famous Grapčeva cave and herbs distillery. The long term goal is to create a traditional annual event on the island of Hvar, which will contribute to a joint promotion of all 6 ethno-eco villages of the island. The festival is organized by the Tourist Board of Jelsa in cooperation with the Humac association and Sustainable island association.
