Jerry’s Island is a wildlife habitat and refuge. There’s nothing to see or do here. It is quite treacherous and dangerous to explore, so take your curiosity and your kids to one of the many bays and coves more suitable for swimming. If however, you can’t resist but come to climb the nasty rocks and upset the bird and bat nests ... congratulations, you’re a typical loser tourist. And, take your garbage back with you. Birds feed your trash to their young. The fish eat it too. The local fishermen will serve this fish back to you in town’s restaurants. Wanna eat your trash? No, didn’t think so. There are no public paths leading to the water from the property closest to the island.
