**Zobnica – a traditional bag from the Dalmatian hinterland**

The *zobnica* is a traditional bag from the Dalmatian hinterland, once an essential part of everyday life for farmers and shepherds. Woven from sturdy homespun cloth or wool, it was carried over the shoulder and used to transport food, personal belongings, or oats, from which it takes its name.

Today, the *zobnica* is a recognizable symbol of tradition, simple rural life, and the rich cultural heritage of this region. The pattern on this small bag is inspired by the original *zobnica*, as a reminder of the past and the customs of the Dalmatian hinterland.

Inside this bag you will find **lavender** – a fragrant gift of nature whose calming scent brings a touch of the Mediterranean into your home. May this small souvenir preserve the memory of our region, its scents, colours, and traditions.
