On Friday 17 April, the University of Coimbra hosted a Cool Noons seminar for Master's and PhD students.
Participants applied the Cool Noons methodology to their city, identifying the outdoor tourist attractions most exposed to heat and brainstorming possible solutions. Three working groups, many innovative ideas: sun sails with misters, urban reforestation and fountain water reuse, all while considering tourists, locals, municipal bureaucracy and UNESCO requirements.
Positive feedback from both professors and students. Definitely another step forward to the dissemination of the results and methodology of Cool Noons.

From April 18th to May 18th, the Centro de Interpretação de Monsanto is hosting a selection of shots from the five pilot cities of the project, dedicated to the theme of urban heat in Mediterranean cities.

We're sharing photos from the opening of the photo exhibition in Dubrovnik.
On April 10th, the TUP Gallery hosted the opening of the Cool Noons Photo Competition exhibition. Around twenty shots from the five pilot cities of the project (Marseille, Lisbon, Imola, Budva and Dubrovnik) capture how people live and cope with urban heat in Mediterranean cities.
The exhibition is open until April 24th. Free entry.

Dubrovnik is showcasing the Cool Noons photo exhibition from April 10th to 24th, with the opening scheduled for around 11:00.
It will take place at the TUP complex: the former Carbon-Graphite and Electrotechnical Products Factory was recently purchased by the City of Dubrovnik with the goal to repurpose it as a hub for the creative sector, SMEs and artists. Part of the space has been specifically adapted for art galleries, making it an ideal venue for our exhibition.

Pridružite nam se na otvorenju izložbe fotografija u petak, 10. travnja u 11:00 sati i doživite Mediteran iz jedne potpuno nove perspektive.

Ova jedinstvena izložba donosi 20 odabranih fotografija nastalih u sklopu međunarodnog natječaja projekta COOL NOONS (Interreg Euro-MED).
Kroz objektive fotografa iz Dubrovnika, Lisabona, Marseillea, Imole i Budve otkrijte kako izgleda svakodnevni život tijekom sve intenzivnijih toplinskih valova – od snalažljivih načina rashlađivanja do snažnih priča o odnosu čovjeka i okoliša.

🌍 Inspirativno, aktualno i vizualno upečatljivo – izložba koja vas neće ostaviti ravnodušnima.
