These winning posters offer creative perspectives on teamwork, determination, and how sports can bring us together.

The winning posters are on display at the Affiliate American Corner Zagreb in Bogdan Ogrizović Library through Monday. We invite everyone to visit the exhibition and experience these inspiring works firsthand!

While in Dubrovnik, I had the honor of visiting the Dubrovnik State Archives in beautiful Sponza Palace to view a document from 1776 from the Republic of Ragusa.

In the document, a local official writes about how important it would be to establish trade relations with the new republic, the United States of America.

250 years later, as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, trade relations between the United States and Croatia have never been stronger, with over $50 billion in trade deals signed at the Three Seas Initiative. Today, we are full circle, fulfilling the dreams they had 250 years ago. Truly inspiring! - Ambassador McGraw

We are celebrating the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence with "Founders Museum: The Road to Liberty," a traveling exhibition that highlights key figures and moments of American independence. Embassy Officer Kevin Curran kicked off the exhibition's tour at American Corner Rijeka with a lecture on John Adams and his role in America's founding. Yesterday, the exhibition moved to American Corner Zadar and will be all over Croatia throughout 2026 as part of our celebrations. See you there!
