We are incredibly proud of our HERO team and our new partners who recently traveled to Switzerland to present in this conference.

As the 12th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology comes to a close, we reflect with pride on a meaningful week of scientific exchange, collaboration, and learning in Geneva, Switzerland.

CHELA Ayiti and HERO Client Rescue had the privilege of presenting the ePoster “Persistent Gaps in the Management of Neurovascular Diseases in Haiti,” bringing Haiti’s perspective on stroke care and neurovascular health to one of the world’s leading neurology congresses.

Throughout the congress, we engaged with clinicians, researchers, and global health leaders, exchanging ideas that will help strengthen our work in emergency medicine, neurology, research, and health system development.

Our participation in the EAN Congress marks an important milestone in our mission to advance emergency medicine, neurology, and healthcare leadership in Haiti.

We return home with new knowledge, valuable connections, and an even stronger commitment to building resilient health systems through science, leadership, and collaboration.

We are always looking into the future. The HERO training, resources, fleet and mindset are always about what could happen, and how we’ll be there when it does. From days of tourism to evacuations and everything in between, Haiti is an ever changing landscape of highs and hardships. No matter what the country is going through you can count on us to adapt and BE THERE. Beyond mountains there are more mountains. 🇭🇹 🇭🇹

Sending the helicopters up heavy 2nd day in a row to bring critical supplies to a hosptial completely cut off by heavy fighting and gang controlled routes surrounding their area.
