On the instructions of His Excellency The President of the Republic Mr. Kaïs Saïed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, will participate in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee entrusted with international action on Al-Quds, to be held on 5 August 2026 in Amman, at the invitation of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to formulate a unified Arab and Islamic position in response to the continued dangerous escalation by the occupying authorities in Al-Quds Al-Sharif. It will also reaffirm Tunisia’s steadfast position in support of the inalienable right of the brotherly Palestinian people to establish their independent and sovereign State on the entire territory of historical Palestine.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Minister will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from a number of Arab and Islamic countries. These meetings will focus on consultations regarding this issue, as well as on reviewing the cooperation relations between Tunisia and these countries and exploring available opportunities to further develop and strengthen them across various fields.

بتكليف من السيد رئيس الجمهورية قيس سعيد، يشارك السيّد محمد علي النفطي، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والهجرة والتونسيين بالخارج، في أشغال اجتماع اللجنة الوزارية العربية المكلفة بالتحرك الدولي بشأن القدس، الذي سينعقد يوم 5 أوت 2026 بعمّان، بدعوة من المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة.

وسيُمثل الاجتماع مناسبة لبلورة موقف عربي وإسلامي موحد ازاء مواصلة سلطات الاحتلال تصعيدها الخطير في القدس الشريف. كما سيتم تجديد التأكيد على موقف تونس الثابت الداعم لحق الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق في إقامة دولته المستقلّة ذات السيادة على كل أرض فلسطين التاريخية.

وسيجري الوزير، على هامش هذا الاجتماع، لقاءات ثنائية مع نظرائه في عدد من الدول العربية والاسلامية ستخصّص للتداول في هذا الشأن ولاستعراض علاقات التعاون التي تجمع تونس بهذه الدول والامكانيات المتاحة لتطوير آفاق تعزيزها في شتّى المجالات.

Sur instructions de Son Excellence le Président de la République, Monsieur Kaïs Saïed, le Ministre des Affaires Étrangères, de la Migration et des Tunisiens à l’Étranger, M. Mohamed Ali Nafti, prendra part aux travaux de la réunion du Comité Ministériel Arabe chargé de l'action internationale concernant Al-Qods Al-Charif, qui se tiendra le 5 août 2026 à Amman, à l'invitation du Royaume Hashémite de Jordanie.

Cette réunion constituera une opportunité pour élaborer une position arabe et islamique commune face à la dangereuse escalade poursuivie par les autorités d'occupation à Al-Qods Al-Charif. Elle sera également l'occasion de réitérer la position constante de la Tunisie en soutien au droit du Peuple palestinien frère à établir son État indépendant et souverain sur l'ensemble du territoire de la Palestine historique.

En marge de cette réunion, le Ministre aura une série d’entretiens avec nombre de ses homologues des Pays arabes et islamiques. Ces rencontres seront consacrées à la concertation sur cette question, ainsi qu'à l'examen des relations de coopération qui lient la Tunisie à ces Pays frères et des opportunités offertes pour en promouvoir les perspectives dans divers domaines.

في إطار متابعة عودة التونسيين المقيمين بالخارج إلى أرض الوطن، تؤكّد وزارة النّقل حرصها على تأمين السّفرات البحريّة في أفضل الظروف طبقا للبرنامج الذي أعدّته بالتنسيق مع المجهّزين البحريين.

وتفيد الوزارة أنّه تمّ الترخيص للمجهّزين البحريين العاملين على الخطوط البحريّة المنتظمة (تونس – إيطاليا)، ذهابا وعودة، لتأمين 9 رحلات أسبوعية بعنوان صائفة 2026 لاستيعاب كامل الطّلب.

أمّا بخصوص الوضعيّة التي تعرّض لها عدد من أفراد الجالية التونسية بالخارج بميناء تشيفيتافيكيا الإيطالي يوم السّبت المنقضي، فقد قام أحد المجهّزين البحريين الأجانب ببيع تذاكر سفر دون مراعاة الأطر القانونيّة.

ولتفادي تعطيل مصالح أفراد جاليتنا بالخارج ومعالجة هذه الوضعيّة، مكّنت وزارة النّقل، بالتّنسيق مع وزارة الشّؤون الخارجية والهجرة والتونسيّين بالخارج، المجهّز الأجنبي، بصفة استثنائيّة، من ترخيص لتأمين الرّحلة المذكورة دون غيرها.

وحرصا على تأمين أفضل ظروف العودة، أبدت الشّركة التونسيّة للملاحة، كحلّ فوري، استعدادها لبرمجة رحلتين إضافيتين لفائدة أفراد الجالية التونسيّة بالخارج يومي 27 و30 جويلية الجاري.

وتؤكّد وزارة النّقل أن الرّحلات البحريّة المنتظمة المرخّص فيها والتي يؤمّنها المجهّز الإيطالي GNV أيّام الجمعة ستتواصل في نسقها الأسبوعي العاديّ، وباستثناء ذلك، فإنّ أفراد الجالية التونسية المقيمة بالخارج مدعوّون إلى الإتصال مباشرة بالمجهّز المذكور.

In the framework of mobilizing support for Tunisia’s candidacies within the African Telecommunications Union (ATU), Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, together with Mr. Sofiene Hemissi, Minister of Communication Technologies, chaired, on Friday, 26 June 2026, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, a meeting with African Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to Tunisia. The meeting was devoted to presenting Tunisia’s candidacies for membership in the Administrative Council of the African Telecommunications Union and for the position of Secretary-General of the organization, represented by Mr. Faiçal Bayouli.
In his address on this occasion, Minister Nafti emphasized the importance Tunisia attaches to joint African action in general, and particularly in the fields of communication technologies and digital transformation. He underscored Tunisia’s longstanding commitment, since independence, to actively contributing to the development of the International Telecommunication Union, recalling its leadership during a previous term. In this context, he highlighted Tunisia’s pioneering experience in the sector and the recognized expertise of Tunisian professionals to assume leadership positions within relevant African organizations. He also expressed Tunisia’s aspiration to receive the support of brotherly and friendly African countries for these candidacies.
For his part, Mr. Sofiene Hemissi, Minister of Communication Technologies, stressed his Ministry’s commitment to strengthening African cooperation in the fields of telecommunications and digital technology. He called for support for Tunisia’s candidacy for membership in the Council of the International Telecommunication Union (2027–2030), the Administrative Council of the African Telecommunications Union, as well as for the Tunisian candidate for the position of Secretary-General of the ATU. He further highlighted Tunisia’s expertise in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and national capacity-building, as well as the country’s vision based on cooperation and solidarity towards a strong and inclusive digital Africa. He reiterated Tunisia’s readiness to deepen partnerships with African countries, serve common interests, and enhance Africa’s presence in international fora.
On this occasion, a presentation was delivered outlining the pillars of Tunisia’s strategy for assuming the aforementioned positions, with a view to achieving the objectives set by the African Union in the areas of digital transformation and innovation, strengthening digital sovereignty, developing telecommunications infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, building capacities, harmonizing national regulatory frameworks, and sharing experiences regarding startup legislation.

Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, delivered an address during his participation in the Consultative Meeting of Arab States Foreign Ministers held today, 22 June 2026, in Amman.
He stressed that the current regional and international context requires the Arab nation to redouble efforts to strengthen the foundations of security and stability and to entrench the values of solidarity among brotherly States and peoples.
The Minister reiterated Tunisia’s position calling for respect for the sovereignty of Arab States and the unity of their territories and for the rejection of anything that might undermine their security, considering that adopting dialogue and cooperation remains the only way to settle disputes and conflicts.
He also underlined that, in light of the rapid transformations the world is witnessing, the Palestinian cause remains the central cause of the Arab nation and urgently requires a just and comprehensive settlement, and that it also remains an essential prerequisite for achieving Arab national security in all its dimensions and for establishing stability in the region.
He further affirmed that the League of Arab States’ openness to the various regional and international frameworks should be based on balanced and regular dialogue and cooperation, founded on mutual respect, parity, common interests and a solidarity-based partnership.

On the instructions of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, will participate in the 165th Ordinary Session (Resumed) of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Ministerial level, scheduled to be held on 22 June 2026 in Amman, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During this meeting, participants will review the various aspects of joint Arab action and ways to further develop it, particularly with regard to issues related to supporting the Palestinian cause and enhancing Arab cooperation in addressing the various challenges at hand.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Minister will also hold talks with his counterparts from a number of Arab countries on bilateral cooperation relations between Tunisia and these countries and the available opportunities to strengthen them, in addition to discussing several Arab and regional issues of common interest.

Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, chaired today, Wednesday, 22 July 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, a working session with the United Nations Resident Coordinator and representatives of the United Nations agencies, funds and programmes accredited to Tunisia, as part of the ongoing dialogue and consultations between Tunisia and the United Nations system on prospects for further strengthening cooperation.
On this occasion, the Minister underscored that the partnership between Tunisia and the United Nations system is founded on longstanding historical relations based on mutual trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to the principles of international cooperation and solidarity in addressing current global challenges.
The Minister commended the support provided by the United Nations system to Tunisia, expressing his appreciation for the Organization’s continued commitment despite the challenges it currently faces. He also stressed the importance of finalizing the Tunisia–United Nations Strategic Cooperation Framework for the period 2027–2031, in line with Tunisia’s national priorities.
The Minister noted that the adoption of the National Development Plan for the period 2026–2030 marks a major milestone in Tunisia’s reform and development process, as it places social justice, the reduction of regional disparities, the strengthening of food, water and energy security, and the modernization of the economy and public administration at the forefront of national priorities. He further highlighted the close alignment between these priorities and the strategic pillars of the new Strategic Cooperation Framework with the United Nations.
The Minister stressed that the Strategic Cooperation Framework should evolve into a comprehensive strategic partnership that goes beyond a project-based approach and adopts a comprehensive vision based on strengthening national capacities, facilitating the transfer of expertise and technology, and delivering tangible results that contribute to accelerating the achievement of comprehensive and equitable development goals.
He further emphasized that the successful implementation of the National Development Plan requires the mobilization of substantial financial resources in light of prevailing international economic and financial challenges. In this regard, he called for the development of innovative development financing mechanisms and for enhanced cooperation with development financing partners, including through the establishment of a Joint Development and Investment Financing Hub as a mechanism to strengthen coordination among the various stakeholders, improve resource mobilization, and channel financing towards national priorities.
For her part, Ms. Rana Taha, United Nations Resident Coordinator, speaking on behalf of the United Nations agencies, funds and programmes, commended the close cooperation between the United Nations and Tunisia, highlighting Tunisia’s special standing as an active partner of the Organization in promoting multilateral action. In this context, she welcomed the adoption of the National Development Plan for the period 2026–2030 and Tunisia’s recent presentation of its Voluntary National Review on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
With regard to the preparation of the Tunisia–United Nations Strategic Cooperation Framework for the period 2027–2031, the Resident Coordinator welcomed the progress achieved in the joint preparation of the Framework in accordance with the national priorities of the National Development Plan and under the principle of national ownership. She reaffirmed the commitment of the United Nations system to continue supporting Tunisia and accompanying its development efforts, particularly in mobilizing international financing for development.
In this context, she expressed the Organization’s aspiration to elevate the level of cooperation through the completion of consultations on the establishment of the Joint Development and Investment Financing Hub, with a view to directing international financial resources towards the priorities of the National Development Plan and ensuring the optimal use of available resources through targeted cross-sectoral programmes capable of delivering sustainable solutions.
The meeting also featured an interactive dialogue with representatives of the United Nations agencies, funds and programmes accredited to Tunisia on ways to further strengthen cooperation, enhance the effectiveness of programmes, and mobilize innovative financial resources, with a view to generating a tangible impact for the benefit of the most vulnerable groups and regions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister reaffirmed Tunisia’s steadfast commitment to multilateralism and its conviction that addressing international challenges requires more effective international cooperation and stronger multilateral institutions. He stressed that the United Nations system remains a strategic partner for Tunisia in supporting its development efforts and mobilizing the expertise, partnerships and financing required to achieve its national objectives.
The Minister also reaffirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad will continue to play its role in advancing development diplomacy and strengthening coordination between the various national institutions and the United Nations system, in support of the implementation of national priorities and the promotion of a modern and effective partnership based on national ownership and the achievement of sustainable results for Tunisia.

On the instructions of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Professor Kaïs Saïed, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, conveyed today, 15 July 2026, Tunisia’s condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of the late Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, at Lusail Palace in Doha.
During the condolences ceremony, the Minister conveyed to His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar the sincere condolences of His Excellency the President of the Republic and his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased and to the Qatari people. He paid tribute to the virtues of the late Father Amir and his historic role in building modern Qatar’s development and prosperity. He also recalled the late Father Amir’s contribution to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between Tunisia and Qatar across various fields, highlighting the warmth and respect he had always shown towards Tunisia, its leadership and its people.
For his part, His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar requested the Minister to convey his sincere greetings to His Excellency the President of the Republic and expressed the gratitude of the Amir’s family, reaffirming his commitment to further strengthening the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.

Sur instructions de Son Excellence Monsieur le Président de la République, le Professeur Kaïs Saïed, le Ministre des Affaires Etrangères, de la Migration et des Tunisiens à l’Etranger, M . Mohamed Ali Nafti, a présenté aujourd’hui, le 15 juillet 2026, au Palais de Lusail à Doha, ses condoléances à Son Altesse Cheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Émir de l’État frère du Qatar, suite au décès de feu l’Émir Père, Cheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Lors de la cérémonie de présentation des condoléances, le Ministre a transmis à Son Altesse l’Émir de l’État du Qatar les condoléances les plus attristées de Monsieur le Président de la République ainsi que ses sincères sentiments de compassion à la famille du défunt et au peuple qatarien, rappelant à cette occasion les qualités de l’Émir Père et son rôle historique dans l’édification du développement moderne du Qatar et de sa prospérité.
Le Ministre a également rappelé la contribution du regretté défunt à la consolidation des relations de fraternité et de coopération existant entre la Tunisie et le Qatar dans divers domaines, tout en saluant les sentiments d’affection et de respect qu’il portait à l’égard de la Tunisie, de ses dirigeants et de son peuple.
De son côté, l’Émir de l’État du Qatar a chargé le Ministre de transmettre à Monsieur le Président de la République ses salutations les plus chaleureuses et l’expression de la gratitude de sa famille, tout en réaffirmant sa volonté de développer davantage les relations fraternelles unissant les deux pays et les deux peuples frères.
