Pada 14 September 2026, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Budapest (Malawakil Budapest) dan Perwakilan Budapest telah menyambut kehadiran delegasi program Global Islamic Student Outreach (GISO) oleh Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia ke pejabat Kedutaan.

Penganjuran program GISO bagi edisi kali ini melibatkan siri pengisian dan aktiviti khidmat masyarakat yang berlangsung di Vienna, Austria dan Budapest, Hungary bermula pada 6 hingga 14 September 2026. Semasa perjumpaan tersebut, para peserta delegasi telah diberi taklimat berkenaan peranan dan fungsi utama Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Hungary, terutamanya dalam menjaga kebajikan rakyat Malaysia, mengeratkan hubungan bilateral antara Malaysia dan Hungary, serta memperkasa diplomasi awam dan pendidikan di rantau ini.

Pihak Kedutaan mengucapkan syabas dan tahniah kepada seluruh delegasi GISO atas kejayaan pelaksanaan program ini. Semoga pengalaman dan jalinan kerjasama yang dibina sepanjang berada di Austria dan Hungary dapat memberikan manfaat yang bermakna buat para peserta.

On 14 September 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Budapest and Perwakilan Budapest had the pleasure of welcoming the delegation of the Global Islamic Student Outreach (GISO) program by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia - USIM to the Embassy premise.

The GISO program, running from 6 to 14 September 2026, encompasses a series of educational engagements and community outreach initiatives across Vienna, Austria, and Budapest, Hungary.

During the session, the delegation received a briefing on the primary roles and responsibilities of the Embassy, focusing on safeguarding the welfare of Malaysians abroad, strengthening bilateral relations with Hungary, and advancing public diplomacy and educational ties in the region.

The Embassy congratulates the entire GISO delegation on the successful ex*****on of their program and wishes them continued success in their future academic and diplomatic endeavors.

On 28 August 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Budapest hosted a dinner in honor of the Ice Skating Association of Malaysia (ISAM) delegation.

The delegation, comprising five athletes, two coaches, and chaperone Ms. Agnes Liew Pui Yee, is in Budapest to attend the Synchro9 training session and course organized by the International Skating Union (ISU).

The development of Malaysia’s Synchro9 team is part of ISAM’s preparation for the 2027 SEA Games, aiming to build a competitive roster of athletes and coaches for international competition. Furthermore, with Synchro9’s inclusion in the Dolomiti Valtellina 2028 Winter Youth Olympic Games and the French Alps 2030 Winter Olympic Games, this initiative opens an exciting new path for young Malaysian athletes toward the Olympic stage.

On 4 September 2026, Mr. Norafizan Mustaffa, CDA a.i., received a courtesy visit from Dr. Zoltán Bolek, President of the Hungarian Islamic Community.

The meeting provided an excellent platform to discuss Dr. Bolek's upcoming visit to Malaysia, scheduled for 5 to 10 October, as well as key areas of mutual interest, including Halal cooperation and Educational collaboration.

We look forward to a fruitful trip to Malaysia and continuing to foster stronger ties between our communities!

Pasport Malaysia Antarabangsa (PMA) bagi tempoh 10 tahun kekal diteruskan dan ditawarkan seperti biasa. Penyeragaman yang dilaksanakan hanya melibatkan tempoh sah laku PMA yang melebihi tempoh 10 tahun.

❌ PMA dengan tempoh sah laku MELEBIHI 10 TAHUN — DIHENTIKAN
