In the library of Central European University, "Silvia's Library Spot" has become part of standard parlance among students, faculty and staff at the university. Located near the entrance, clearly distinguished by an aura that resemblances procrastrination, Silvia's Library Spot has been the place of several novel advances in network-analytical methods and substantial findings in the research on po

litical networks. Through this, the place has obtained an almost teological significance among visitors to the library, not too dissimilar to other shrines of academic worship, such as the tombs of Boltzmann, Einstein, Marx, Curie and Sartre.
